Works great, used on an HP DQ series lol. Help a lot with choppiness of YouTube videos, handling multiple tabs. It was cheaper to get this and an external SSD to fix the issues of a 3 year old $150 laptop.

I used this kit to maximize the RAM capacity of my in-law's aging laptop. Installing it definitely improved the laptop's speed and usability - the stock configuration of a single 4gb module with Win10 was hamstringing it severely. After running TestMem5 for multiple cycles, no errors were found. Inspecting the module info with CPU-Z showed identical production dates and very similar serial numbers, and both modules use Samsung chips. As with nearly any RAM, especially in a laptop, it was a plug-and-play affair. DDR4 prices have increased lately due to global production ramping down, but this set is still a good deal. 16gb of RAM is a respectable amount for DDR4 laptops. ... show more
