Added 8gb more to my laptop so I can run games smoother. The laptop can already feel a change in games and multitasking. I am allow to have multiples apps opening while still playing games at a constant frame rate. It was easy to install and for the price definitely recommend.

Fast and easy! Literally, I popped them in place, started the laptop, acknowledged via the BIOS, Viola! The properies page ID'd the new RAM, frequency, and away I went. It was a very painless upgrade. Considering what I used to pay for RAM just a few years ago, this was a true baragin.

This is my second purchase of laptop memory modules from A-Tech in the last 3 years. To rebuild and upgrade my 6 year old laptop I needed a memory upgrade and repeated my search of memory module vendors. Once again I decided on A-Tech and they didn't disappoint. (BTW: I highly recommend staying away from the temptation to buy used/pre-owned modules, with those I've found you're asking for more troubles). My successfully purchasing the right memory requires that I know the specific memory modules required: type, shape/pin layout, speed, capacity, if more than one module being added requires additional modules to be the same size, and staying at or below total maximum memory allowed for my machine. With the right specs for my machine in hand A-Tech promptly provided new, quality modules at a very good price. Testing them out during installation the A-Tech modules again proved to be excellent. I'm writing out a review as I personally don't put much stock in 'stars' in reviews anymore, so I'm motivated to offer my first-hand experience with A-Tech to perhaps help someone else ( I have no relationship with them other than my just being another customer). My recommendation: A-Tech as a great source for anyone's memory chip/module needs!

I installed this memory into a Dell Latitude 5590 and it booted up without any issues. I had doubts about buying this memory as i had tried other memories and the laptop would not recognize them, so i decided to take a chance with these and they are alright. I gave four stars as i just installed them, will wait about a month and then edit the ratings based on the usage.

When I purchased my Acer desktop, I knew it would not have enough memory, so I also purchased A-Tech memory to go with it. That went well, and influenced my decision again. I found videos to help me install it properly. My wife got a new Acer laptop, which also was short on memory (what is the deal with Acer and insufficient memory, anyway?), so we bought this memory at the same time as the laptop. Good news first: installed and works fine. The next part is a lesson I learned that I want to pass on to y'all. Before even turning the computer on the first time, I installed the memory. The computer didn't launch into Windows, so I began the process to return it because I bought a brick. But wait. I have to get the memory out of there, don't want that Acer dealer to get a bonus at my expense. So, I took out the memory. Being a tenacious cowboy, I turned on the laptop. Yee haw boy howdy, it was more than happy to run and go through the first-startup procedures. After that was done, I shut it off. Then I went through the steps and reinstalled the memory, reasonably wondering if it was faulty. Nope. The computer started and recognized that it has more elbow room with the added memory. Here's the lesson: I will never again add memory to a computer before its initial startup. I blamed Acer, then was ready to blame A-Tech. Not my fault, either, for not having been informed that I shouldn't install memory before its first startup. At least, that was what happened in this case. All's well, A-Tech.
