I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T450 that I installed Windows 11 on. It had 8 GB of RAM and I thought that Windows 11 would run better with 16. This memory was reasonably priced and had a known manufacturer name on it, as opposed to the pages and pages of generic DDR3 SODIMMS that came up in the search. Installation was easy. There are maybe 8 screws on the bottom of the laptop. The entire bottom comes off and the RAM is right there in the middle. The T450 has 2 RAM slots. No compatibility issues or random crashes or anything (as of this writing). Note that the hard drive is also accessible by removing the bottom cover. Upgrade your drive while you're at it. The T450 does not (apparently) have an M.2 slot, so a SATA SSD is what you will need.

Sometimes product warranties aren't all that they seemed when you need to use them. But I bough a set of this RAM back in 2017. It eventually failed in 2023. A 5 year run isn't bad, but it's still disappointing to have the RAM fail. But it was good value. So now in 2024, I wanted to restore my laptop, so I was going to replace the dead RAM; same product, same vendor. But then I noticed the product page said "Lifetime Warranty," so I contacted the seller, asked for a swap-out, and WOW did they deliver! They immediately shipped out a replacement set of RAM, along with a pre-paid return mailer for the defective product. They said if the second RAM doesn't work then I could just send both back for a complete refund. This is 6 years after the original purchase!!! They are serious about this lifetime warranty! A-Tech rules! I will always come to A-Tech for my RAM needs!
