My son has been reconditioning my cooling system; new hoses, new connection points, and somehow my 2002 GTI 1.8T cooling system was failing. Coolant was brown even after flusing efforts. After talking to some friends, we determine slugde in the old radiator had to be the most likely problem. So, this product was available at a reasonable price and is performing since installation.
