I bought this chandelier online and when I received it, realized that it is definitely not an easy assemble. If you are very handy, you might go for it but instructions are basically a diagram. 😳 I was concerned that I may not have all the parts but the company sent three extra crystals as well as additional other important pieces, just in case, and that was MOST appreciated! I opted for hiring an electrician and it took about two hours for him to hang this….(this is the downside) but honestly it was worth every penny of the investment; and installation was much more than the cost of the chandelier. It definitely exceeded my expectations and if you are looking for the “wow factor”, then I believe this delivers! I highly recommend. Crystals are huge and catch the light at every angle, it is modern and elegant. The electrician installed a dimmer and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! The media could not be loaded. Its a beautiful piece and it gives a lot of light despite the crystals, but it doesn't have that wow factor. It looks smaller, although its measured correctly 25 inches. I think the way its shape makes it look much smaller, its not square in shape rather its kind of oblong or oval, if its was square it could have been more bigger and lovely. Overall Its ok but I wished I ordered a different chandelier, the ones with a touch of black, all my light fixtures have a touch of back. I don't know what came over me to ordered this one, it looks out of place in my house because its all silver which was a mistake on my part. But who knows it might grow on and I will like it. But if not I ll just replace it 🤷 ... show more

    • Beautiful, but weighs a crap ton

Bought this to replace a construction grade entry one used when my house was built. It’s absolutely beautiful when fully assembled and it’s a great value for the money, but it weighs a ton. Had 2 different electricians quote me $300-$400 for installation, which included putting additional support 2x4 in the light box otherwise it would fall eventually. Donated to a local nonprofit and ended up buying a $20 light fixture from local Habitat for Humanity, spray painting it pewter, and buying some crystal light shades from Lowe’s. It does make a statement, but be prepared to spent several hundred dollars for installation. ... show more

This is a heavy light - even BEFORE you put all of the crystal on it. You should know it is not square (as could be implied by the photos), but oblong diamond shaped and a chromed metal frame. It took about an hour to hang the light, and another hour to affix the crystal. The "crystal" strands on the top of the light are plastic - but reflect the light well. All-in-All, it is an OVER THE TOP light fixture for a dining room. And very bright! We have it on a dimmer, which helps. When people see it, they don't know what to say. My electrician installed a ceiling medallion along with this beautiful chandelier. We did the crystal assembling beforehand and was fun putting it together. Now the bedroom looks like a ballroom.

Pro: it is beautiful once up Con: directions were not detailed and very confusing. One page w little info. Had to figure things out ourselves. Pain in the butt to put up. Took at least 2 hours, plus had to buy a different part because the screws that came w were too short. My husband (who can do almost anything and is handy) was not happy w my choice due to the directions. He did the bulk of hanging. Then I had the pleasure of placing each bulb.
