Great light weight ladder. I would give it five stars but because of the weight you have to lean forward as you going down, in A frame mode. Otherwise ladder opposite leg will come off the ground. But I guess, that is expected of a light weight ladder. My previous was same style all steel but it was #40 and difficult to maneuver.

My study has several very tall bookshelves, and reaching the top rows has always been uncomfortable. I wanted a foldable ladder that felt solid and steady while letting me grab books without strain. This step ladder fits that purpose well and gives me enough height to reach higher shelves with confidence. When standing on it to pull heavier books, the wide steps feel supportive and stable. The steel frame feels strong under weight, and the textured pedals help keep my feet in place while I focus on balancing books in my hands. I feel more relaxed using it compared to a chair or stool. Once opened, the ladder locks firmly in place. Pressing down on the top step gives a steady feeling, and it does not shift while reaching forward. The handle offers extra support, especially when stepping down with books in hand. After use, it folds flat and slides neatly beside my bookshelf. It saves space and stays out of sight until needed. The top standing area could be slightly wider, which would improve comfort when reaching for heavier books.

I've been using this 3-step ladder regularly for the past few weeks, and it's become one of the household items I use more often than I expected. From the first time I opened and used it, I found it easy to incorporate it into my daily tasks. Opening and folding it is so simple, which is more important than I initially thought. I store it in a corner of the room, and whenever I need it, I can quickly open it without difficulty or worry about it getting stuck. Once opened, it holds firmly in place, which immediately provides me the confidence to step up without hesitation. Most of my use is for reaching higher shelves, changing light bulbs, cleaning high cabinets, and organizing storage areas.
