The rug is very nice and soft. It is brand new, so we don’t know how it will wear yet. It is taking a while for the folds to come out of it, but they have.It looks great in the room and was a great buy. We already had a pad, but I would recommend you use one with it. It is pretty thin.

Very nice rug especially for the price. Even though it’s thin it’s so soft even on tile floor. Dog approved! Unfortunately due to how lightweight it is i cannot use my cordless Dyson vacuum on it as it sucks it up immediately. A heavier corded vacuum works fine though.
