I needed to get 9V batteries for my metal detectors. I started pricing out 2 packs of Duracell 9V -- about $9.00... off brands like Voniko Ultra Long Lasting 9V Alkaline Batteries, 4 Pack, 7-Year Shelf Life was $6.29 --on sale. I was about to buy them and thought: You know what be cool is a rechargable 9V that you can plug directly into your USB cable. I found these and bought them -- where have they been all my life? On sale for less than $10 for a pair of them -- one black, one white. I like the idea of the color code. I comes in a nice holder which has room for the dual charging cable. It took a while to fully charge -- and it works flawlessly in my detector. Have no idea how long they last... but it's been a few straight hours of contiunous use with no glitches. The only problem with them -- if you want to call it a problem -- is that these batteries are feather light. It was a bit disconcerting when I first tried them -- don't let the weight fool you -- they work as good as the alkalines -- only with multiple reuses.

Useful tiny and lightweight 9v battery for low power applications. Cell capacity seems ok. Ordered pack of those as power source for couple DIY projects. It seems work well in low power applications with loads below 250 - 300mA. Everything above that have chances to break embedded change/discharge controller. Controller seems neither designed to handle large currents nor equipped with enough protections to prevent breaking from such currents. Draining it to zero with 100 ms pulses of 500mA current every second having chances to break controller within few charge-discharge cycles. Controller still charging a cell, but battery output constantly reads as zero.

battery fits perfectly in all my devices that use a 9volt. 6 devices in total ranging from 2021 metal detectors to 1970 walkie talkies. some lithium 9 volts have problems fitting because they are just a little to big but these fit everything. very happy thus far with my purchase and 20 dollars for 6 was a good price.

I bought the 6 pack to use with a metal detector. I charged all 6 batteries.They all had the green light indicating they were completely charged. I used 2 of the batteries, and they seemed fine right after charging. I went to use the item after sitting for 4 - 5 weeks and they were completely dead, the 4 other batteries not in use where also completely dead. After attempting to charge a few times over several days, charging each battery 8+ hours the indicator light was still red. Using different adapters and wall warts. I checked the batteries with a voltage tester and 4 indicated 0v, 1 was 2.2 volts and the 6th was 1.8v.

I loved the idea of rechargeable batteries for my guitar, but I was having to recharge it every few days. It's easier to just put in a Alkaline 9v and it would be fine for months.

These work great. I got tired of buying expensive batteries. Most of the time these go into low use items so I don't know if they last as long as alkaline batteries. But it does not matter. I can recharge these instead of throwing them away.

RECOMMENDATION: Thumbs Up: These work fine in std 9v applications THE GOOD: 1. These are reasonably priced and are 1200mwh at 9v, which seems about typical for LION batteries of this class. 2. There is a charging cable included that allows you to charge both batteries at once which is a nice plus. 3. There are charging indicator lights on the top which let you know the charging status. THE BAD: 1. So far nothing. I wish that they were higher capacity, and you can buy lion 9v batteries at over 4x this capacity at a higher price of course.
