    • Very Disappointing
Although this game machine is of high quality and looks very elegant, I was very disappointed in it. The manual, if it can be called that, written in tiny print, is of no help in setting up the machine. It does not explain what the various buttons do, nor does it give any information about navigating the menus, etc. For example, it does not tell how to access the settings. I found out that there is a button on the back of the machine to do this. Once I finally got into settings, I could not get out, until I just cut off the machine. The power switch is in an awkward position on the back of the machine, rather difficult to reach. Many, many of the games are duplicates or near duplicates. I could not find much help on the internet for using this machine. I finally gave up, and am returning it. ... show more

When I saw this I was really surprised, but it also makes sense. Living my nostalgic dreams being able to take a arcade with me and making it portable like a suitcase or briefcase is genius. That being said, the price was a little high and I was afraid that they wouldn't be able to pull it off. Let me say that they did pull this off. This is a walking arcade dream of a kid that grew up in the '80s. The material in this is really well made. It's very easy to transport even though it's somewhat heavy. It also has a beautiful screen which was surprising even though it's an HD screen. I'm not really worried about the screen being damaged since you fold it and close it. It does come with a lot of games and while the software is a bit lacking since I'm used to better software on my handhelds, this is actually a really fun. Awesome arcade machine. The joysticks on it are really awesome and they give you two different sets of ball types. Overall, I think this is a great value for the money and they really pulled this off and I think this is something that could be really a hit at party's. Also, finally the battery life on it was pretty good given 2 to 3 hours of solid play ... show more

I am beyond happy with this. It is way nicer than I thought it would be. It is really well made. It weighs quite a bit, and you will be surprised. It's all metal. The screen looks great, and everything is very clear. It has a very good battery life. The controls all work very well. The system itself is very easy to learn to use. The game selection is really good. There are some doubles but there are many very popular games on this. Super Mario 1,2, and 3 are on this as an example. It has so many cool fighting games, and some of those games have hacked editions such as street fighter using the ninja turtles. I spent hours just browsing the games. This has every single beat em up from the arcade I can possibly think of. All of the metal slug series is on this. All of the games play perfectly. You have the option of saving your progress in every game. If you were to show up at a party with this system, you would be a hit with the crowd. This will also connect to your tv if you want an even bigger picture. I could go on and on. This is definitely a nice value for the quality and the experience you will get. ... show more
