  • Works great, easy fix.
This resistor works great. I used the wiring harness too because my old one had some slight evidence of over heating. If you install this without the wiring harness it may work fine. If it doesn't, I wouldn't assume it's faulty. It could be a bad connection in the wire harness. Try changing it first. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Very easy to install. I think it took me 15 minutes. You might want to have a heat gun handy for the shrink wrap on the electrical connectors, but it isn’t a must. The fan was identical to the one I removed. The electrical component looked different, but that was just because it was newer/better tech. It fit in place perfectly and works flawlessly. ... show more

  • OEM fit without the OEM price
OEM quality resistor and well made plug. You need a good crimping tool for the included heavy duty butt-splices.

  • Durability issue Durability issue
This product works well but is not the most durable and will burn out again. My OEM lasted about 17 years and this product lasted about 2 years. Easy enough to install, takes about 10 minutes once you have the right tools. $16 for 2 years isn't bad but with the longevity issue I cant give this 5 stars. ... show more

  • It Sort of works..
Replaced a failing OEM unit with this one, I was lucky enough not to have a melted harness etc.. so it was just a simple plug and play.. Bought this May 19th, installed a few days later and it has failed. only High speed works. Should be noted i had issues with this the first day it was installed and did opt for a return/replacement but it started working fine so I canceled the return.. ... show more

  • Parts work well/ so far, so good
This is the second time I had to replace the blower motor resistor. The first one only lasted about 8 months, but I only changed the resistor, I did not splice the wires and replace the wire harness. So probably my fault for being lazy, but changing the resistor made the AC work again. This time I replaced the wire harness and the resistor. I will tell you, the back screw for the resistor is a b%#$@ to get back in, especially when you are almost upside down. When changing the wire harness, I was unable to use the heat shrink butt connectors, due to after crimping, the wires kept falling out. I ended up using twist-on wire connectors. Way easier!!! So far, so good, but time will tell how long this lasts for. ... show more
