This dress is great! I purchased this for a themed wedding it came quickly, and it was made well. Definitely needed to be washed just to get the wrinkles out after it came but the length was good, I wore flats and never struggled with the length of the dress, and I am about 5’ 2”. The only thing I struggled with was keeping the darker purple sash in its place just because the dress is a slick material and so was the ribbon. However, a quick fix for this would’ve been to use fabric glue or a safety pin aside from that I would highly recommend the dress! ... show more

As a plus size person on a budget I was worried I would struggle to find anything that fit and was flattering. Providing my measurements as hopefully that will be helpful. Being pear-shaped finding something that fits top and bottom is so tough! If your upper arms are smaller than mine, I would definitely recommend for an affordable evening look that could easily be fancied up. Also if you don't have the time/skills to hem the skirt this one was ready out of the box. Height: 5'8" Bust: 47" (40D) Under Bust: 42" Hips/Behind at widest part: 60" Upper Arm: 17" Pluses: I really liked the neckline. It is a bit lower and wider on this one than the others I tried making it more of an evening look. But you would also need a specific bra to accommodate that. The skirt is also narrower so its less bulky The color is nice and it comes with a navy blue ribbon for an extra touch. Elastic at the "waist" so it fits, but isn't tight. Only dress I bought that wouldn't have to be hemmed. It will still hit the floor but with shoes I won't be tripping. Negatives: Fabric is super thin. It has a nice sheen, but well you are getting what you pay for. Will want to wear a slip maybe even a petticoat to give it a bit more fullness. Sleeves have elastic in them. Ugh. It was biting into my arms. Other styles I tried didn't and I prefer that look and feel better. ... show more

Pretty color. I really liked the dress but it was simply huge in the bust on me. When I tried it on and put my arms down by my sides, the top literally fell to my waist - major wardrobe malfunction, Lol! Needless to say, I returned this item. Busty ladies, please consider this dress!

This was a great buy. I took the elastic out of the sleeves as they were a bit too tight on my large arms, and added some lace, but otherwise the dress fit fine! I received many compliments on it, and it was very comfortable. :). It was very wrinkled and took a while to iron out, but once ironed, it didn't wrinkle very easily. Love it! ... show more

The dress was attractive and appeared to be well-made. However, it had clearly been worn before and smelled of perspiration. I'd hoped to wear the item to a Regency-themed event, but had to wear something else. I had ordered the blue version - the fabric seemed to be of good quality (I did not try it on, due to the above concern). It looked similar to the image on the listing, and had the appropriate "Regency" look I wanted. If you're considering ordering this dress, I'd recommend ordering it well in advance in case the problem I encountered happens. Others have mentioned the same concern about odor, and had I ordered it earlier, I could have requested a return and ordered a substitute in time for the event. ... show more
