We love this fireplace. We previously had a traditional natural gas fireplace that took up a lot of space in our living room - the bricks came out about 3 feet from the wall. When the gas insert had to be replaced, we decided to knock out the old look and bring in the new! This unit is super cool. You can operate it from an app on your phone. You can use the remote or the buttons on the front lower right corner. It has a multitude of color combinations. It has real fire sound (3 volume levels). The 1500 watt heater has both a low and high setting. We couldn't be happier with it. If you follow the instructions and make sure the opening is the right side, it literally slides in, secures to the studs and is ready to go.

It is an electric fireplace and the simulated flame and colors are okay. I was expecting more quality. Don't bother turning on the sound as it is very low quality. A digital recording is too easy to input, but I guess they didn't want to spend the money. The remote arrived crushed and CS had to FedEx a replacement. It is very flimsy so being able to connect to WiFi to use a phone or Alexa was the selling point for me. However, it won't connect and I already have a dozen lights locks and fans on the app. Update: Increased from 2 stars to 4. Customer service saved the day! This company stands behind its product and customer service is exceptional.

We purchased this fireplace in 2021 when we bought our fista home. I must say we have no regrets. It totally transformed our living area and we got tons of compliments. The lighting is great, love that you can change the colors of the flames, warms up our entire living space and it has two speeds hi and lo which is a bonus, the remote works fantastic and it's easy to use. It's my toddlers favorite place to be as you can see in the picture. She turns on the lights and have it on all day long. We are moving to our second home in a few months and will definitely be purchasing another fireplace. Definitely recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.

To start, it is very rare for me to write a review about items I got on Amazon, but since it was an amazing experience, I decided to share it. I got this unit about a year ago and liked it very much. However, when I installed it inside my wall, I noticed I had an issue with the Wi-Fi, which was disconnecting about every hour. The only way to get it working again was to unplug and plug the unit. Fortunately, I had a switch in the wall to perform this. I decided to ask for an exchange, but at that time, the unit was out of stock on Amazon, so there was no way I could leave a big hole in my living room. I decided to keep it. The problem, though not major, was driving me crazy. I couldn't understand why I had to repower the unit to have Wi-Fi. So, almost a few days before the warranty was over, I contacted the company. I spoke first to Joseph and then to Lea. They were very responsive, and they wanted to give me a new unit as a replacement, which was very nice of them. However, I didn't want to have a big hole in my wall, even for a few days. Since all the functions of the fireplace were working well, except the Wi-Fi, I asked them if I could get another Wi-Fi module board. They agreed, but they had to order it for me from China, which took about two weeks. I should mention that when I received the whole control board, the warranty was already over. Anyway, after removing zillions of screws from the back of the fireplace, I replaced the board, and right away, the Tuya app detected the board (it never did that with the previous one). Now the unit is working properly, and I am fully satisfied. I understand that some parts can fail, but the company stands behind its products. I also forgot to mention that the small remote control was chewed by my puppy. Lea was so nice, and she got me another one free of charge. Their proactive approach and dedication to finding a solution exceeded my expectations.

If I could give it zero stars I would. After only purchasing it 5 months ago and only using it 3 or 4 times the fireplace led lights have burned out. Do not buy this off brand. I wish I would have just gone with Touchstone. Worst purchase ever
