This unit really is plug and play. I found it very simple to figure out and operate. In order to use my Note 10 Plus with this unit I had to install Android Auto, and I honestly don't hate it. I'm using this screen to update the infotainment situation in a 1995 Bronco and it's going very well so far. It's a "classic" truck so it is not driven regularly. I am able to leave the device plugged in to the cigarette lighter...or rather, I guess people just call them power points now...overnight and for days at a time with zero measurable drain on the truck's battery. The included video games are a nice value-add, but you will need internet on your phone in order to use them. Also, the screen system can detect when the vehicle is moving and will lock you out from using the games until you come to a stop. This is probably not the screen itself but the phone. I have no complaint about this functionality; fewer distractions are a good thing for the driver. My only note is that there was no backup camera included. The product page says there is, and even the box described the product as a dash cam or some such thing, but there was no camera or camera cable included. While a little disappointed I'm not terribly upset, since I wasn't looking forward to the installation procedure. Plus the lack of a camera means this device isn't married to just one vehicle. Which reminds me, I was able to use the gooseneck screen mount simply by wedging it into the ashtray in the dash. No glue or suction cup was needed. This obviously won't work in all vehicles, but it's going well for the Bronco. I wasn't even planning to leave the screen set up this way, but I haven't needed to change anything. The only true complaint I have is that the swivel mount for the screen doesn't like to stay put. I can't seem to snug it down enough that the screen doesn't tilt during car rides. I believe this would be the case regardless if I put the mount on the dash or the windshield. It hasn't significantly impacted my ability to see or use the screen but I'm not exactly thrilled either. No problems whatsoever routing the sound through my vehicle speakers using the short-range FM transmission option. I'll admit I was skeptical at first, using car audio tech from a brand I'd never heard of, but I've been happy with the product for about a month so far. The zero-installation, plug and play capability makes this touch screen a solid buy in my book. One final note: to power down the screen, you gotta hold the power button for around 3-5 seconds. Otherwise all you're doing is turning off the view but leaving the system running. This is an important distinction because it could remain connected to your phone after you'd rather it wasn't, and it may produce increased battery drain as well. It's not really a big deal as long as you remember to pay attention (or if your 12v power port is only on when the car is running).

I ordered this Wireless Apple Carplay& Android Auto Car Stereo, 9" Touchscreen Car Radio with CarPlay Navigation to replace a similar unit. My Lexus CT-200h has decided that it is going to live forever. We don't drive it much anymore, but when we do it's for long car trips (our other car is an EV) so a decent Nav system is important. I picked up a similar touchscreen CarPlay unit about six months ago, but I've never really been able to get it mounted securely, and the most secure mounting position I could get it in blocks some of the AV vents. I ordered this one based on the photos in the listing that showed it mounted on the dash. The unit comes with two different mounts -- one that is designed to be screwed to the dash and a second with a suction cup. I never want to drill holes in my cars, so I'm using the suction cup. It holds perfectly well, even when the car has been sitting in the hot sun alll day. It took less than 2 minutes to get this thing set up. You pair this to your phone via Bluetooth, and then the connection switches to WiFi. For straight navigation, I use the audio that's built into the unit. If I want to use Spotify, then I use the built-in FM transmitter to send the signal to my car's audio system. You can also connect to your car audio system's Aux input. Because I had a similar unit already installed, I was able to connect my existing backup camera with no issues. However, it is important to note that this unit does not come with any cameras. If you want a backup camera, you'll need to purchase one separately. I deducted one star because the listing appears to suggest that a backup camera comes with the unit. I'm also somewhat unclear as to the role of the "super capacitor" allegedly included in the unit. While it does not turn off immediately, it will turn off within less than a minute of having the power cut. Honestly, this is no big deal for me since I really only intend to use this when the car is on. It might be an issue for you, though. My old unit would take about 20 seconds to boot up. That long boot up certainly reduces the value of a backup camera if you are pulling out of your garage or a parking space. This one boots up nearly instantly. There are a lot of units similar to this one available on the market. I'm sticking with this one based on its ease of mounting, ability to place it where it doesn't interfere with other components, and quick start up time.
