I love this ladder, so easy to move around, light weight for the size, comes assembled, very tall. Most other ladders are heavy and hard to move around. This is much easier to climb and safer. Good quality for what I use it for which is just simple things around the house.

Pros -sturdy -hood leg supports -comparatively light weight -seems nice quality -wrapped nicely; came with extra leg support pieces -good for the price -narrow (I wanted this) -nothing to assemble Cons -shorter than other 5steps (it is practically a 4step) -came with an oil smell but I don’t care. Probably will go away anyway -narrow for larger bodies? -does not lock in place? (Not lock part) Neutral -slip resistant? Some I think. Could be better. If your shoes are wet, I don’t think this is slip resistant but otherwise probably good enough This isn’t a professional construction ladder. I knew that. I wanted something lightweight and narrow so I can easily move it without my spouse and get into a small area. Unfortunately, this isn’t tall enough to reach into a narrow bathroom with what I now realize is a ridiculously high ceiling. 50/50 user error vs item. I underestimated ceiling height and overestimated my height vs actual step height. I will be borrowing a 10ft A Frame Ladder for this bathroom i think. Those are like 300 and I didn’t want to pay that. I hoped a 5step was good enough but that was naive. However, it should have reached something else but the steps are too close together and starts too low to the ground to get the height I expected… I admit that I strongly thought about returning this, but I kept using it. This is obviously for indoor use but I took it outside to try and get this branch that has been driving me crazy but bc the first step is sooooo low to the ground, the 5th step is just a little too short for me to use a chainsaw. That’s right, I go hardcore. I never felt unsafe on this. I used it for an hour and trimmed a bunch of trees just not the one branch I wanted! I think this can still occasionally come in handy. I have attached a picture comparing this 5step to our 2step. Notice the how low the first step is, barely off the ground. I admit I was disappointed with that. The spacing between the steps could be larger so you’d get more height, however maybe it would be less sturdy? I purposely picked this one based on 5step, reports of sturdiness compared to competitors, and price. I saw a few cheaper than this all with people saying wobbly. This didn’t wobble once. Almost Final point, notice the legs: My 2 step wobbles. And annoys me. This feels much safer and has better leg bases. The 2step is actually heavy and hard to open. This 5step is barely as heavy as that and it opens better. It does weigh a little more but still not bad. The 2step makes me pull hard to open it up but then it locks. This 5step just unfolds and there it is. But again, I felt totally secure moving all over lawn on it. As long as you need it occasionally andor don’t need a lot of height, I think this is a great buy. Still seems more like a 4step though

I'm returning. First off, it is advertised as being able to withstand up to 650 pounds. That's a complete lie. I am 195 pounds, the steps are made of such thin metal material that with each step you can feel the step buckling underneath you & hear the metal popping !!!! THE STEPS ARE SO CHEAPLY MADE !! VERY UNSAFE !!!! I have a smaller folding ladder with PLASTIC STEPS that are STRONGER than this ladder! THE STEPS ARE ARE THIN AS A SODA POP CAN !! SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT & there is going to be a lawsuit. From the sides the steps look thick but when you really investigate it when it's closed you will see the steps are made of a very thin wobbly metal. Thinner and less strong then my metal mixing bowls ! Love the 9 step idea and how it folds thin and is light. But they can still make it light by making the steps with a very thick plastic like Costco does with their ladders. I gave one star because of the wonderful 9 step idea. Very all, but, it's also wobbly.

This one is very sturdy, not cheap feeling, the steps are not cheap plastic where I feel like id break them stepping on them. Also comes with extra rubber feet just in case. This ladder seems to be a great deal! So far, so good. It feels solid and I've used it a few of times for work already. It was pretty creaky at first, but the sounds gradually subsided. They're not gone completely, but not what they were at first. I would recommend this ladder.
