I love this light! Super easy to install, although I should have wove the cord through the chain more than I did so I didn't have extra "loose" cord. The only thing I personally didn't like was the color of the wood. They come what I would call a French Grey Oak finish. Kind of a grey with a little brown. I included a picture of what they look like next to what they look like sanded, and then also after 1 coat of the stain I used. I did like the fact that they are real wood, so I simply sanded them down, which was a little time consuming since there are 24 of them, but overall not bad, and then stained them to better match my wood wall accents and desk. I felt the finish on them made the wood look a little fake also even though it is real wood. Over all, very happy with my purchase! I feel it really pulled my home office makeover together! ... show more

    • Wires frayed; does not work
I am so sad to write this review. I bought this light back in July and couldn’t wait to put it up but we were in the middle of a remodel and I didn’t have time until today (way past the return window). Right out of the box the chandelier was beautiful, but I noticed that some of the cloth wire covering that goes inside the black ball was damaged and frayed. I covered it with electrical tape and hoped for the best. Unfortunately once it was installed it would not turn on. We rechecked the wiring, all was well, but it would not turn on. I have tried to find a way to contact the seller but can’t find any contact information. I am so disappointed that this light didn’t work. ... show more

I love this light - it goes really well with my boho/mid-century modern vibe. One thing I will say is that it is VERY bright when you install all the bulbs and fire it up. Fortunately, I have a dimmer on it so that is not a problem but you may want to invest in that as well if you don’t already have one. ... show more

I love the design of this lamp. Everything seems well made too. The assembly is a bit of a pain, fortunately this wasn't my first Sputnik lamp I've had to put together so it went a little quicker. Just be patient. Once it's all together and hanging, it'll be worth the effort. Very cool looking lamp.
