I only bought this because it was 2” shorter than standard bed frames. When my son was putting it up with his dad he mentioned how strong the frame was. That was the extra benefit I had not looked at. Now if they could make this 2 more inches shorter that would be even better. I’ve shrunk now over 2” over the years and with the high mattresses they make nowadays I’m still too short for my feet to touch the floor when sitting on the mattress. ... show more

My husband is really big (6’6 over 300lbs) we actually used this for our bed. We removed the wooden slats under the mattress and put this in. We kept our bed frame.
