I actually really like this unit. Easy to take calls and get directions at the same time while keeping my eyes on the road because it's on the dash and at the same eye line as traffic. Plugs into a cigarette lighter with an extra USB port and has 2 different dash attachments - one permanent and the other can be removed (suction cup). The touch screen is easy to use and pairing took less than 20 seconds. After pairing, you have a contacts icon which for me makes it nice to access. They have an option for a back up camera for the unit. My in-dash 7" cd player is relatively small. You can also use your phone's media to play songs and videos. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Firmware updates? * Wish you were able to hide the blue bar on the left of the screen (for all the screen settings) * Being able to change the "driving position" so you could decide which side you want the carplay menu banner on would be ideal. * Auto dimming on the screen would be a massive upgrade.

The media could not be loaded. I originally owned a 7-inch version of this portable screen, and I must say that this 9.26-inch upgrade is miles better. The increased screen real estate allows for efficient multitasking without sacrificing my map view and the touch is much smoother. This product has enhanced my driving experience by providing a safer way to navigate the road. The IOS mirror link is a standout feature, allowing you to mirror navigation, music, and even watch videos from your phone on the large touchscreen (not advisable while driving but great for kids). Even the sound options are versatile as it comes with a built-in speaker, but if you prefer louder sound, you can easily transmit it to your car's speakers in three different ways. I found the Bluetooth option to be the most stable with excellent sound quality. Installation is a breeze, taking only 2-5 minutes using the adhesive bracket pre-installed. Overall, great cost-effective device to upgrade any vehicle without wireless carplay or android auto.

This is a decently well made unit that fails to serve a real purpose outside of a small niche of situations. If you are looking to add Android Auto to your vehicle without the need to replace the head unit, this will fit the bill. However, doing this sidesteps many of the inherent conveniences of Android Auto as you are left with a device that is not connected to your cars speakers or microphone. This leads to a cumbersome experience whereby your phone, this screen, and your car somehow need to all be connected in some way without a straightforward pathway to do so. Nonetheless, this display works as described and provides access to Android Auto quickly, albeit in a somewhat diluted form given the lack of true integration with the rest of the vehicle. In many ways, it feels like it is an solution in search of a problem and for most people, simply installing a head unit with these same features would be an easier and more satisfying solution in the end.

The media could not be loaded. This unit is pretty cool. It easily Bluetooth’s to allow CarPlay. It is a big screen so is easy to read. You can set it up with a back up camera if you want as well. The sound quality is decent, the functionality is awesome. If you have been wanting CarPlay in your vehicle this is a good option. The device is quite big and has a bit of weight to it so make sure it will fit in your car where you want it!

The media could not be loaded. This Carplay adapter has a 9.26" widescreen display. The device connects to your iPhone or Android phone and allows you to display navigation on the screen. It has a touchscreen, so you can dial from the device through your phone and you can change audio playlists that are stored on your phone. The device has different options to allow you to listen to the audio signal. One way is via an AUX cable to your car. My car does not have the AUX input, so I am using the FM signal. You could also use the built-in speaker. If you have your own backup camera, just piug it in and the display will show you the backup view. (Camera is not included in this model.) The display has great brightness during daylight. Some of the aftermarket adapters have flimsy suction cups for the windshield. This one just feels amazingly sticky. I have not had any issues with the suction. I have had this adapter for a few weeks and I am very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. This is the fourth time buying a carplay, and I always find something inconvenient, such as connectivity or response time issues. However, this screen is a game-changer, a very smooth touch. I can make the call and use my car speaker, or if I want to connect the sound to my earbuds! I love this feature. I can open two apps simultaneously with a nice layout. The connection is incredible; it auto-connects without touching anything! When I leave my car and disconnect my phone, it reconnects directly when I get back there. This one is the best carplay. If you are looking to get one, save your time. This one is worth it.
