This is an absolute MUST-HAVE if your car doesn't have factory CarPlay or Android Auto! I honestly can’t believe I spent so much time using my phone as a GPS when a device like this existed! Not only does it add full wireless phone integration, but it also comes with a built-in dash cam and a rear camera! Installation was super quick and easy. The screen is extremely responsive and smooth, and the display resolution is top-tier. My favorite feature by far is that I can route the audio directly through my car's speakers! Voice commands work like a charm too, which is a lifesaver when you need to change your route while driving. The screen size is simply perfect. Easily one of the absolute best purchases I’ve made all year! 10/10 recommendation!

So I was skeptical about buying an external CarPlay for my Apple device. I did a a lot of reading about them. I came to this one. I like the low profile don’t did not cove a lot of my windshield. It had good reviews. It as many as some other but people seem to like it. So I researched it. Couldn’t find a lot of people saying anything bad. Maybe a few but there is always a few. So I said ok I’m going to give it a try. If I don’t like it I can take it back right? So it arrives. The packaging was better than I expected. It has some weight to it. It comes with everything you need, even a tiny screwdriver to change how it mounts on the back. Its screen is nice and responsive. I had no issues with using it or seeing it. The camera is sharp. (I have not looked at the footage on anything but the device yet) it comes with a rear backup camera. The device is as easy to use as your IPhone. It has a lot of options and settings. Maps are smooth audio routes via your phone Bluetooth to your car stereo. But it all matches up and works great. Steering wheel controls do work. It automatically put all my CarPlay compatible apps from my phone over on it. You can go to your phones settings and add and remove apps. You can split screen with the CarPlay interface and the driving camera and see both at same time. You can sign and and pick up curbside orders from target with the device if you have the target app on your phone. (Only target offers this at this time. That I know of). It does auto connect to your phone when you turn on the car. It takes about 5 seconds. So I rented a new dodge to take a trip and it had car play on it. That’s what hooked me on car play. The difference between this unit and the official CarPlay in the dodge are very minor like the user interface is different, the official one In the dodge was brighter. Other then being actually part of the cars head unit and having dodge specific features that’s the only real differences I remember. I’m over all very pleased. Oh it does mirror video from your phone. But Apple has screen mirroring on things like Netflix because of copyright usage laws with streaming. DRM digital rights management. But YouTube worked fine. Oh it has wigets also. Now for why I don’t like. You have to disconnect from car play to view dashcam footage. Your phone wants to automatically reconnect every few seconds. I had to turn off the connection on my phone temporarily. Same is true with screen mirroring. I made a FaceTime call with the device connected to my phone and it would not let me send video from my phone while the device was connected. The outgoing video was black. I disconnected the device and it reconnected immediately. I ended up having to unplug the device and call back for it to send my video on the call. I even turned off the connection on my phone and somehow it turned back on and reconnected and video was black again. So I unplugged it to make the FaceTime call. That’s about all I didn’t like. Everything else is great. I’m quite pleased with it. The photo that has the white background is the box.

This was a great upgrade for my 2008 Honda Civic. I had Best Buy install the rear backup camera, and everything works perfectly. Wireless Apple CarPlay connects automatically, the screen is bright and responsive, and the dash cam quality is excellent. It makes my older car feel much more modern without replacing the factory stereo. Highly recommend!

The unit itself is excellent and is just like the factory installed Carplay in my wife's car. The wireless connection to the car's stereo is excellent and clear and the set up was easy. The display is bright, and the size is great. We did not need to hook up the back up camera as the car already has one built in so I can't vouch for this feature. But overall the unit seems well built and trouble free. The only issues I had were in the mounting. I bought this for my daughter's car and she's short, so she didn't want it sticking up over the dash. So we installed it in the cantilevered position as shown on this website and have had problems with it staying in place. Part of it was my fault as the dash had recently been cl;eaned with protectant which messed up the adhesive disc. I purchased new adhesive discs off of Amazon, properly cleaned the dash and even used 94 adhesion promoter to get it to stick very well. Now the disc is solidly stuck on, but the suction cup won't stay attached, This also may be my fault as it also lost some of it's adhesive due to the protectant. I've reached out to the company to see if there's anything they can do to help me out. So the one thing I think they could improve is to provide instructions on proper preparations for how to mount. The operating manual that comes with the unit only explains how to operate the unit itself, but doesn't give instructions for how to mount it, how to run the wire if you do use the backup camera etc. This seems to be an oversight that I hope they will correct, because I think this is a great unit at a very reasonable price.

I rarely write reviews but this product was just so compelling that I made sure to write this review. This product seriously made my old car feel new again. I have a Genesis GV70 as my second car, and one of the things I love most about it is the screen and Android Auto convenience. After installing this in my older car, I can honestly say it brought a lot of that same modern feeling over. Before this, I used a vent phone mount that was annoying every single day. It damaged my vent, the charger wire would hang over the controls, and the whole setup looked cluttered and outdated. Now I just get in, Android Auto connects, and I’m good to go. The screen itself is excellent. It’s a 9.26-inch IPS touchscreen with 1600x600 resolution, and it looks sharp, bright, and clear in actual use. Honestly, the display looks even better to me than the screen in my GV70. Maps, music, menus, and camera views all look great. Installation was easier than I expected because the wire was thin enough to route behind the dashboard and keep things looking clean. I also love that audio can be routed either through Bluetooth or AUX, so it works with different car setups. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, screen mirroring, voice control, and OTA updates, so feature-wise it covers a lot. The built-in 4K front dash cam and rear camera are a major bonus. The rear camera also works as a reversing camera, which is extremely useful because I'm so used to using it on my other car. Video quality is very clear, and having both front and rear coverage makes this feel like a much more premium system. It also includes loop recording and has a free 64 GB SD card. For me, this wasn’t just a screen upgrade. It completely improved the day-to-day driving experience and cleaned up the entire look of the car. If you want to modernize an older vehicle without tearing everything apart, this is a really solid buy.

We installed the screen and backup camera on our 2008 Honda Accord for our youngest son so he would have access to Waze maps, music and more on a screen larger than his phone. Screen set up was simple and it easily connected to his Samsun S23. The screen is clear and easy to see. The speakers on the unit work well. We need them since the auxiliary jack on the car is broken. The sound is clear. Wiring the backup camera was a little involved, but after watching a few videos on YouTube, I was able to route the cable through the trunk, under the trim, across the back of the drivers seat and up to the screen. Splicing into the reverse light so the backup camera appears on screen when shifting into reverse was also a little involved, but again a couple yYouTube videos made it possible. The screen and backup camera are working well. The only issue we had was getting the suction cup mouse to work so we had to use the shorter base with the mounting sticker/tape. Overall, this is a good value for an aftermarket screen/backup camera for an older vehicle.

Screen constantly times out, you can hear calls perfectly but the caller can barely hear me. I have to switch back to my phone. Would return but threw out box so im stuck with this thing. Tried getting an plug in microphone to alleviate issue but nowhere to plug it in.
