I purchased this tarp to hang over the windows in the garage door. I have some of that protective film over it that prevents people from being able to look in during the day, but someone could easily see in at night if they wanted to. Since the garage has been renovated into an apartment, I wanted to cover the windows and this tarp is doing the job. I like that it's thin and still opaque so that it blocks out the sun in the early morning. I can't attest to other uses, but it does seem to repel water well. I don't think it has much insulation on the afternoon heat, but the door does a good job of that and the window film also helps. I secured the tarp with magnets so that I can easily adjust it to see out as needed, but it also comes with grommets so that it can be hung for other uses, or tied down with rope. I recommend this product, but make sure you pay attention to the measurements and are aware that it's thickness is actually pretty low. ... show more

Bought a month ago. Installed. Came back to order another. ‘Unavailable’ Guessing due to thin material. Easily punctured. Eyes weirdly spaced. Guessing these are irregulars sold here where people can’t preexamine. For what I needed worked fine. Still not deserving or five stars. It tore after the 1st use. But I guess it just depends on what and how you use it. Overall I was very happy with this tarp for camping, it just so happen to get holes from the rocks rubbing against the center of the tarp.

It is really thin. Just think of the thinnest tarp you would ever use for anything and then subtract 75 percent thickness and that is what you are getting.
