This appears to be just what is described, although the term tarp makes me think of something different than thick plastic. I have no method of measuring the actual thickness or weight of the plastic material, but it does feel thick and strong. It seems like it will hold up well as long as it is not stretched over a sharp or abrasive surface. This should work well as a plant cover/mini greenhouse cover. It comes with zip ties as well as rope cord. The measurements of my 13x6.6 tarp are 13 feet x just over 6ft 6 inches. The edges of the tarp are reinforced with a woven plastic cloth. There are 6 grommets on the short sides and 11 grommets on the long sides. The reinforcement and grommets seem sturdy. I have not yet had any strong winds to test this out yet.

We have many outdoor sheds and covering for this and that out here. My husband sets up dioramas for his 12" G.I. Joes and he has quite a few accessories for them. Every winter, he tucks them away under the covered shed that has no side just a roof, and that is it, his stuff is stored. When we go to take them out so he can set them up though, we can never see inside of them as we accommodate the no walls with tarps, but we wish we could see inside of the area without having to constantly move the tarps. Well, this solves that issue completely! It is a large, thick, heavy-duty tarp that my husband just put up yesterday and it is so nice, it makes things so much easier. It is easy to move, easy to hang, though a bit mis-made as when my husband hung up the one side, the top of it had a large overlap. It's fine with us though, and as long as you are aware of this minor issue, it isn't much of an issue at all. Finally, we get to see inside where we store many items for the entire winter, and with such a well-made tarp, it is exactly what was needed for such a dilemma.

I am quite disappointed in the fact that the stated measurements for this greenhouse tarp were inaccurate. I needed exactly the size listed in order to fit the arch that I wanted to attach this too. The tarp should have been 8x10. It measured 8 foot 3 inches x 9 foot 9 inches. I now have overage on one side and a gap on the other. Measurements aside, it is a nice sturdy garden tarp. It is fairly clear and made of durable materials. The finishing and edging are well done. The included rope and zip ties are of good quality and the tarp seems quite secure with the use of all of the included attachments. It is listed as being windproof and snow proof, but only time will tell. Additionally, the listing states that the grommets are rustproof, which is an issue that I have dealt with in the past. I am looking forward to seeing how this holds up. I suspect that it will weather many a season. So, because of the quality I am willing to overlook the erroneous measurements, but hopefully it will be remedied in the future. Good buy. Happy with my order.

Suitably big enough to cover my trellis and make it into a winter greenhouse! and thick enough to resist the onslaught of pinecones and old branches our trees drop on us every year. I like the edging as well; the grommets don't seem loosely fastened in but nicely secured in place, and its not a bad border; it could work as a screen on a sunroom (so, I might convert my backyard deck into another greenhouse). The rope it comes with is also appropriately thick and tough, and long enough for me not to worry about having enough. The only items that seemed so-so were the zip-ties - they should do what they need to do and no more, and because they're zip-ties its about all I could ask. Overall satisfied, a quality tarp covering!

This has reinforced black fabric edging with metal grommets, making it more durable and easier to hang from our pop up tent. The size of 8x10 ft is perfect for hanging from the side of our tent at outdoor events if the weather becomes rainy and windy. The plastic isn't totally clear but you can see through it pretty well, it's fairly durable feeling but not super thick or heavy either. This folds up fast and small enough to fit in the same bag as our tent. The included zip ties and string was a nice touch, but we usually use bungee cords to attach this with. This tarp is an affordable option that is much more see through and retail friendly looking than the solid white sides our pop up tent came with. Nice item that works great for outdoor events.

When I see heavy-duty and tarp, I assume some type of reinforced plastic. However, this is just regular thick plastic with reinforced edges. It's definitely more of a "window" rather than a fully protective cover. I used it as a ground cloth under a tent; it did well, and didn't get any holes, but I know if there had been any dragging, etc. it would not have held up. As a barrier, I can see it working well. As a general-purpose tarp, though, I'd be careful of the durability. Still for the right use case, it's a good choice. The edges are well reinforced, and the grommets are solid.
