Now, this runner was about a foot too long for the area along my sink and dishwasher. No runners have been long enough. I want that entire area covered with a rug because it's the kitchen and if something splashed on the wood floor, it gets slippery. I have done a few slides and slips right by the cabinets. Not interested in hitting my head on a countertop edge. This fits PERFECTLY! I did have to trim it - which is where this run REALLY shines. I used simple heavy-duty scissors (utility sheers) trimmed about six inches off each end. It was easy to do! So easy! Then, I was going to run some "stop fray" along the edges but didn't have to. There was no fraying. It's been a week and the edges haven't frayed. It's soft to stand on but isn't memory foam. It does absorb liquid, but if you get to a spill quickly, it won't go deep and can be lifted with blotting. The surface has a bit of a protectant on it to allow for that action before it settles in. I am really thrilled with this runner. I have spent the past 18 years (when we built the house) trying to find a solution to that area. I had done a custom runner from a local home improvement store but it was too heavy and the rubber edges kept curling up when the robo vac went over it. My robovac has no issue with this run. I usually remove the rug before robo goes on clean, but there are times I don't and it's fine. As I said - the edges don't fray so nothing for robo to grab on. For the price? It's a steal. And it does settle down flat really easily after you initially remove it from the packaging.

This floor runner is stunning. I really love the color and pattern, both are done extremely well. I ordered the gray in a 2 x 8 and I have to say it is a gorgeous rug. It is true gray with shades of cream & beige. There are also dark gray areas mixed in and everything blends really well. The pile is as short as you can get, next to nil. Very easy to vacuum, but if the suction is strong, you will need to hold down the edges as they will pull up. Even though the runner is on the thin side it feels thick, nice & heavy. The threaded borders are stitched evenly and add a nice touch to the overall look of the rug. It is very soft and great on bare feet. Looks great in the kitchen or a long hallway. The coloring is very subtle so its placement will work just about anywhere. It does arrive folded so you will have to work out the creases. It does have a nice backing which keeps the rug from sliding around. It is a decent bargain for being such a beautiful rug. Highly recommended!

Got this for our kitchen but ended up using it in a hallway. It looks great and only took a few hours and 1 pass of the vacuum to get rid of the marks from the packaging. It feels good and the anti slip works great. I was worried as my kids run in that hallway, but no issues yet! Solid rug and very happy with it.

I am extremely impressed with this runner. It resides in my upstairs hallway, which gets quite a bit of traffic to include pets. Although it is light tone, it does a surprisingly good job at hiding dirt and pet hair. It vacuums well and I’ve washed it once. It came out looking still brand new - no fading or wear. The runner adds quite a bit of richness and class to fancy up a plain hallway corridor. 100% recommended!

I wanted a washable rug for my long, galley style kitchen and so this is a good fit for that application. It is a bit heavier than some other washable rugs I have and feels a bit more like a traditional rug. It is still fabric, no backing or anything like that, but the weight of fabric just feels more like a regular rug. It didn't take long for it to flatten out. It stays in place well so far, my cats don't slide it around the floor or anything like that. So far it has stayed where I put it. This has a trim around the edges that really contributes to it looking like a traditional rug. I will update if I run into issues, but, I don't see any reason why this won't last.

This runner is a great option when you need some nonslip but easy-clean surface on a floor. The design is way more interesting and attractive than a plain runner. The pattern is just printed on to the no-pile polyester backing, so will eventually wear further than its already-antiqued look. The rubberized backing is nice and grippy. It arrives folded and does not immediately lay flat, but does eventually ease down essentially flat. It is very thin and does not provide any significant cushioning. Worth the $43 price tag in my opinion, though you can find less-attractive options for less.
