I don't normally write reviews but it's also rare that I buy something that I am over the moon about. I got mine today and already I am in love with this. It's perfect. Wireless PC controller with a dock was all I was looking for. It's weird how hard that is to find. Easy to find wireless controllers, sure, but with a dock is oddly uncommon. This also looks awesome when docked. It has a nice weight when in hand, generally feels really good and solid. I've gone through a lot of Logitech controllers in my life. I'll never go back. If anyone from Logitech happens to come across this review - TAKE NOTES... This is what a good PC Controller product looks like.

TLDR: 8BitDo ultimate 2.4 GHz is a great controller, plus it works very well with Nvidia Shield Pro TV! ***** After trying several (even wired controllers!) That did not work with Nvidia Shield, I was beginning to worry. Essentially the Shield is an Android device, but even the 2019+ Pro doesn't support nearly as many input devices as the typical Android phone. However, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4 GHz controller works great. To get it working, remove the 2.4 GHz dongle from the controller's charging dock, and insert into the shield's USB port. The charging dock is now only used for charging, so it can be plugged in anywhere (ie. into an AC/DC adapter). Then, switch the controller from "X" to "D" mode using the toggle switch underneath the controller. Lastly, you'll hold the "profile" button on the controller (bottom middle) until it rumbles twice, which means it's on 2.4 GHz. The controller will now work as both a Shield remote and as a gaming controller. Happy Gaming!

Color: not what's pictured. Even the box says otherwise. (see photo) Connection: bluetooth works flawlessly on PC. Using the stand/charger hub wireless connection works flawlessly. Charging: very easy. Place it on the hub. Super convenient. Ergonomics: awful for people with larger hands. It forced me to use my index and middle fingers on the bumpers and triggers, respectively. People typically just use index for both; it was uncomfortable to do so with this controller. The grip horns did not reach my palms when held, leaving much uncomfortable space. (coming from Ps4 controller) Extra buttons: I found myself accidentally pressing the underside buttons. Software: best I've ever used, programming is quick and seamless. Overall, the ergonomics are the most important factor here, and I would only recommend this to people with smaller hands. I wish it was sized for my hands, truly. It's amazing in all other aspects.

I really don't have any faults with this gamepad. The buttons are great. Directional pad is good. Sticks feel solid. I really like how the holder charges the device. When I lift it off the cradle, Windows detects it. My favorite controller.
