It cools good. Not really quit. We can sleep as we have gotten use to it. There is no outside screen to keep bugs out of the outlet hose either. Contacted the email that was listed but they have not got back yet (more than a month). I would look for a different one and pay a little more!

I live in a house built in the 1950's so there's not air conditioning other than what we can stick in the windows. Our window unit died last year and I'm glad I found this, it works great for our small living room. I didn't think I'd like it at first because of the hose that leads the air outside but it was pretty easy to hide and also easy to set up because our two main windows have panes that open upward. It sits in our corner, itsn't too, too loud, and blows out cool air. I'm extremely happy with it because it gets to over 110 degrees in the Summer here and our little window unit was struggling to cool the air any time it was hotter than 80 outside. I don't think there will be any issues going forward with this one. The only con I found with it, and is probably the case with all other portable air condtioners like this is that the hose itself does seem to get hot, which I thought might cause my living room to also get hot, but it doesn't... but it's not something you want to go around touching or laying on something fragile.

This portable air conditioner was easy to install and allows us to get some air in my daughter's room. We don't have air and so our house gets rather hot and we really needed some sort of air or fan to help cool things off. This allows her to have a regular fan on cooler nights or she can turn on the air conditioner feature for the really hot nights and it cools things down. It has been a lifesaver now that summer as arrived.

This A.C works very well. You have to let it sit for 12 hours before using it and you have to gradually bring the temperature down a little at a time. Once everything is done though it works even better than I had imagined it would. It cools down my bedroom almost instantly. It's portable but you have to have it by a windows for the vent to go outside of it. I would definitely recommend this portable A.C unit to anyone and everyone. This is perfect for hot weather and a great alternative to regular A.C. units that go into your window.

This is a fantastic portable AC unit. It easily keeps my living room comfortable. It is easy to move room to room as well. Make sure to use the exhaust ducting to keep the warm air out of the room and it will easily keep any room in a residential home colder than you need. The remote works great. The timer is a nice touch as well. The dehumidifier function works great as well, just make sure to empty it, or install a drain hose, or it will quickly fill up and stop working until it is emptied.
