2/8 of the devices literally make a screaming sound on repeat, and when I had the rest of them plugged in it was no time at all before I could hear them, too. These are supposed to be on frequencies that only the critters that they’re supposed to repel can hear but they disturb the humans and cats in my home as well. I’m returning them and reading reviews more carefully next time - most of the good reviews for this product are about a fly trap, not the plug in pest repeller that I purchased from this same page. Those kind of practices tell you a lot about a seller, switching products on a page with good reviews to keep selling their junk. Buyer beware!

Caution!!! Never buy !!! If you have pets this is not for you! Since ultrasound affects the membranes of not only rodents , but also pets, and this is dangerous! Do not believe the manufacturer they are lying to you, they only want to make money without caring about you! This sound causes harm to pets!

Well, I plugged the first one in at the low setting. It emitted a sound that was loud. It was loud enough for me to hear & annoy my dog. These are a great invention, but are supposed to be silent for humans, dogs & cats. These are not!

They kept me up it was noisy. I changed the frequency as suggested it stop for a short period and started up again
