I ordered these mats to make beef jerky. Worked perfectly for ground beef with a good amount of fat. Before, I had fat leaking all over my dehydrator. Now it stays contained in the trays. They are easy to use and clean. Since they are made of silicon, nothing sticks to them. For my dehydrator trays, these were a few inches smaller, but for the price I can't complain. Highly recommend for high fat meats, protein bars, fruit, or anything else that might spill and make a mess.

This set of silicone mats and mesh screens is a fantastic addition to any dehydrator setup. They’re easy to use, versatile, and durable, making dehydrating less of a chore and more enjoyable. Highly recommend them for beginners and seasoned dehydrators alike! There is an initial smell when taking these out of the package, but I just ran them through the dishwasher and that seemed to help.

I picked these up a couple years back specifically for smoking elk jerky on my grill, and man, they've been a game changer. Since then, I've processed two different elk that I've harvested, and these mats have handled every batch like a champ. What I love most about them is how well they work in the smoker setup. The jerky comes out perfectly every time - no hot spots, even heat distribution, and the meat doesn't fall through the grates like it used to. That was always my biggest frustration before getting these. Cleanup is honestly a breeze, which is huge when you're dealing with the sticky marinades and rubs that make jerky so good. Nothing sticks to the surface at all. I just rinse them off, maybe give them a light scrub if needed, and they're ready to go again. After processing pounds and pounds of elk meat over the past couple seasons, they still look practically new. The storage situation is pretty slick too. They roll up nice and compact, so they don't take up much space in my gear. I keep them rolled up in my smoker accessories box, and they're always ready when I need them. For anyone who's serious about making their own jerky, especially if you're processing wild game like elk, deer, or whatever you're bringing home, I'd definitely recommend giving these a shot. They've held up great through multiple hunting seasons and countless batches of jerky. Solid investment for any hunter who likes to process their own meat.

I live in rural Hawaii and when the fruits come in, they come in heavy. I get too much to eat all at once, so we dehydrate a tom of food. I used to use only the fine wire racks which came with the machine, but these have opened a whole new world for me. The fine mess ones are a lot easier to clean than the wire racks, and they are much easier to remove the dried fruit. The trays for "fruit leather" are great for really soft fruits or combo fruits. For instance, pureeing bananas and mangoes, then spread it out on the trays to make "roll-up" fruit treats is very easy. I just love these.
