What a great deal. I LOVE these! Let me say, that I bought one of those expensive Pom makers from a very high end knitting store (I won't say where because I really love the store!) but these actually work better. Not only is this quick to use, they produce a really great pom-pom and the entire thing stays attached, so it's quite easy to handle. There are NO directions included so here is how to use this: The thing to remember is when you open it up, you use TWO pieces of the tool together, wind the yarn...then use the other TWO together and wind yarn around that. Then those 2 sides, with 2 pieces wrapped together with the yarn get put together to form the circle. Close it up, then cut down the channel on both sides. Wrap a long piece of yarn around and pull tight, I tie mine 3 times. Then open and your pom-pom is ready to go. I bought this package so I would have extras for a craft class and people can work on them together. Even if you don't need them for that, it's well worth it to buy this and then you will have extras or use them on the go. Highly recommend!

They look and feel just like the more expensive brands in craft stores but you are getting two full sets. Google how to make pompoms and you are all set to go. I crochet hats for adults and children. I misplaced my pompom maker so I ordered these. Two things if you want to make pompoms for dolls or babies these may work although they break easily. They are too small for an adult hat. I was successful in making one pompom before the largest one broke. The pompom maker I had before these were larger and had been through about 9 years of pompom duty. In a nutshell if you are making adult hats skip this one and look for a larger size.

I have used brand named Pom Pom makers but I lost the 2.5. I ordered these thinking they’d work just the same. Nope. These are flimsy and crappy. They don’t stay closed after cutting the sides they open and yarn falls out.

I used these with a group of 8-10 year olds in a puppet class. They stood up to the kids, so definitely sturdy. The kids needed a little help securing the center string...we had a few pom poms fall apart...but otherwise were able to use them on their own. As an adult, they are super simple and turn out beautiful pom poms quickly and hassle free.

Good product and does make very nice pompoms. It does come apart easily while cutting, but other than that they are great. Love all the sizes.

My items arrived in good condition, but there were no instructions on how to use them. After reading the reviews I hunted on Youtube and did find excellent instructions. It would have been nice if instructions or directions to a video were included.
