I didn’t even realize when I bought these that they are able to be strung together in a series. They’re working great for starting my plants indoors. The only negative I can say is the pink light, while it looks cool, makes it hard to see the color of your plants. It can make them look pale. I also like that they can be used with or without the shades, so the light can be focused directly under the fixture or the band of light can be wider. If you use them like you are suppose to not plugging them all into each other with one plug you will be happy. They don't get hot I have them above my hydroponic system. I did make the mistake of turning them on for 12 hours each day and my lettuce grew to fast my strawberry plants loved it tho.
