    • That's a lot of tape!
Tape like this is used to reinforce fingers and prevent injury to fingers and hands when doing Jiujitsu in the Gi. For that purpose, the tape works well. It is precut to width which is more narrow than I usually cut my sports tape, but the width still works fine for me. The tape is strong without a lot of stretch so it keeps fingers stable. It is hard to tear, however, so I have to keep a small scissors in my bag for cutting it. It stayed on fine during sweaty rolls. You get SO MUCH TAPE - give some to your friends. ... show more

    • Jiu jistu finger tape
This is the size tape I like for my fingers. I use it when my fingers get sore or injured, perfect size for buddy taping. This 8 pack is going to last me a long time, but I'll probably share some rolls with others. One annoyance I have with tapes of all sizes is that one edge always tends to fray as I unroll it. The last brand of .3" tape I had, one long string down one edge would always fray off, so I'd have to cut or tear it off. So annoying, especially on .3" tapes which are already narrow as it is! So far that hasn't happened with this tape. It loses the a little tightness in the weave along the edges (hope this makes sense), but doesn't completely fray apart. It's tearable by hand, but doesn't tear very easily or cleanly. I pack surgical scissors in my gear bag for cutting gauze and tape, so I'll probably continue to cut it instead. Performance is similar to other tapes I've used. The price is a great deal for 8 rolls, so as long as it continues to perform as the tape rolls age, I'd definitely buy this again and recommend it to others. ... show more

    • Works well for bouldering
When I first got the D-NYX fiber tapes I thought they were too thin but they worked much better than I thought: it turned out I don't need to cover the entirety of a finger section which also leaves my fingers the freedom the bend and flex. With my index, middle and ring fingers wrapped I found I was able to climb longer before tiring out my fingers, and there were fewer scrapes when I'm done. The tapes were easy to remove afterwards without nasty residues. That said, I'm still experimenting to find the best locations to wrap so the fact that you get 8 rolls for $5 is great. ... show more

$5 for a an 8 pack of finger tape? This is a deal! I dont use the tape for very long (probably 2 - 3 hour sessions). They do slip off when grappling or handfighting, but with an 8 pack roll you can easily replace it. Other tapes I've used have come off when doing something that involves friction, so it is not uncommon and somewhat expected. Packaging is good. Overall, good product that I use almost every day! Only thing is I wish it came in fun colors but it is not a bid deal . ... show more

My use is for BJJ and so far it worked pretty well. I like the convenience of pre-cut tape. I think it is fairly priced for the amount your receive. The tape's adhesive could be better and cutting the tape is not as easy as other tapes that I have used. Overall, this athletic tape provides good value and it is convenient to use. ... show more

    • Strong, thin width tape, but it has a moderate odor like cloves and camphor.
* Overall Impression: -It's a good value for the style, quality, length and the amount included. -However, it has a moderately strong scent and odor to it that smells like cloves and camphor. The scent makes it unpleasant to use. * Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Good value for the style and quality. -Comes safety sealed inside the carton. -Slim 0.3 inch width. -45 feet length. (on each roll) -8 rolls included. -Strong compression. This doesn't have stretch like k-tape and is stronger and slimmer than standard athletic tape, I think it has stronger compression than most athletic tape. -Not slippery in the grip, non-slip. -Strong adhesion. -Doesn't leave adhesive residue behind on the skin excessively. -Sweat resistant. -No scissors needed. You can twist it to remove it from the roll. (Personally I still do prefer scissors.) -Latex free adhesive. * Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well: -Has a moderately strong odor that's unpleasant and smells like cloves and camphor. It's like a spicy meets vintage style lineament scent. It's very noticeable and unpleasant. I would not personally get it again due to this, though I otherwise like it. * Tips & Thoughts: -I didn't want this for the traditional sports use, but to use to stabilize over skin glue smaller areas on my fingers and knuckles that tend to split open during cold weather. After the skin glue dries, I need to secure the area and this is slimmer than athletic tape and band-aids.     • Great Deal for 8 Rolls of Finger Tape
These arrived very quickly and were packed nicely in plastic wrap. Each roll has plenty of tape so I expect these to last me a while. Adhesive is good and it doesn't leave too much residue when I remove the tape. I misjudged how thick 0.3 inch would be so it was a little narrower than I pictured but that was my fault. I will probably reserve these strictly for taping fingers since I feel it is too narrow for most other applications. I guess that's why it's called finger tape. This is good tape and will work well for various athletic uses. Its strong and a good width. My only complaint is that I am not able to tear it. It says you can "tear by twisting" however that did not work for me. I plan to use it for golf, so will need to be sure I have a small pair of scissors in my bag. However, at only $4.99 for a generous amount of tape, I would definitely purchase again. ... show more
