Overall, I’m pretty happy with this futon mattress. The cover is so soft to the touch and it’s pretty comfortable to sit on. I got it so that my younger granddaughters would have an alternative place to sleep when they visit, so I don’t yet know about the sleep quality. It’s been unboxed for about 3 days and seems to have reached its maximum height in most places, although it’s a bit uneven across the entire mattress. I think this will work just fine and happy that I didn’t go with a more expensive mattress.

I saw that this product has more reviews and has a moderately good score and decided to trust it (since obviously you can't return a vacuum-packed mattress), and I made a grave mistake. The mattress wouldn't inflate further from where it is now (I used hair dryer per the flyer that came with the product), and the length/sides measures can be seen in the picture. I got a 76x52 mattress when I purchased a queen (80x60), a problem someone else also encountered in the review section and apparently their problem wasn't resolved so I'm not confident in the seller. Seriously if you have a queen sized frame maybe buy from someone else because this thing looks pathetically small on my frame. I will let it inflate for 2 more days, but I'm not hopeful that this will be an 8 inch thick queen mattress (looks more like 6 inch full to me, and that one is *by far* cheaper)!

There's no two ways about it: you really do have to wait the full week for the entire mattress to fluff up. I've slept on it for several nights now, and other than having to fluff it like a giant pillow once every few weeks, it's super comfortable. So, don't buy this if you're desperate for a new futon ASAP, but if you have the room and ability to let it decompress fully, it makes for a comfortable and soft bed and couch.

This bed was one of the best things I have ever bought on Amazon… Delivered on time but the Amazon person could not deliver to my foyer but instead left by the gate. I dragged it inside as it was heavy!!!! Vacuum sealed….the instructions were to be so careful cutting it open, which I was. It expanded quickly and took maybe one more day to fully expand. No smell, just beautiful corduroy material with ties and even these cords if you want to roll it up to move/carry it. It is just amazing, not lumpy at all, very full and between soft and firm I would say a 6. The heath is exactly as specified. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bed to go on the floor, without a frame. With a frame would work but I want something lower. An amazing bed for a great price…

I’m giving 2 stars only because there is a dip in the mattress that has been there and won’t rise. I’ve left the mattress for 5 days, which is longer than the recommended timeframe and dip is still there. I’ve found no troubleshooting tips to fix the issue other than to walk or roll on the mattress which did not correct the issue. . The dip in the mattress makes it uncomfortable to sit or lay within that area. The one positive is the outside is beautiful and soft to the touch. I would love to return and replace but it’s too big/heavy for me to carry alone and I have no way to package and ship back. The dip in the mattress makes it not worth the price for the quality.
