I used this twice on old braids. It controlled the frizz without tying my hair down. The second time I tied my hair down it controlled the frizz. Very good product. Doesn't leave residue or build up. I can imagine using this on a fresh set of braids. It's a 10/10.

I use this for my daughters 2c hair when I braid it. I found the best way to use it on her hair was slightly damp hair and applying to each braid before starting the braid and add more as I go down with the braiding. I also used a locking gel on the roots only before braiding and I got a week out of her hair style. Without using anything I would get three days max but doing this method help extend that. You do have to reapply nightly and put a scarf on while sleeping. No need to rewet the hair nightly, just add more of the mouse. It’s not sticky and did not cause any build up. ... show more

Like mine was normal foam and there’s was watery it was weird because I’ve bought from this brand before and this hasn’t happened and they opened it and used it in-front of my face so its not like the put water in it or anything. ... show more
