My teenage son loves using it. At first, I was a little afraid of falling off, but the first time, it was a breeze to learn how to use it, maintain stability, and learn how to steer and stop it. The size is perfect; my son and I use it constantly, and it's a lot of fun. You can easily control the speed, and the battery lasts. So this seems to work great for my 14 year old daughter. But the issue is that I didn't purchase it for her but rather for my 8 year old son. He is a very experienced hoverboard rider but this thing just vibrates and goes crazy when he tries to ride it. The only thing I can think is that he's too light for it. He is able to ride it on his knees without it acting up. Would be nice if they included a minimum weight along with the max weight in the description.

I bought two of these, and they are virtually unrideable. The "self balancing" causes this hover board to vibrate aggressively and uncontrollably. My kids were repeatedly thrown off, despite being very good hover board riders (we have owned several others in the past virtually all of which were higher quality than this one).

The media could not be loaded. With no prior hoverboard experience, Iām very happy with this purchase! The instructions were clear, no assembly was required, and it was easy to learn how to use. It has been easy get on and off, and feels stable even as a beginner. Tires have nice tread and it is made with a thicker plastic, and it feels like it will last a long time. I have not gone full speed yet, and am very much a beginner, but I am happy this board so far!
