I got this netting for our Peachtree in the backyard. Every year we tried to come up with some ideas on to how to protect the peaches from the squirrels and birds. The issue is mainly the squirrels they are smart and always figured out how to squeeze in the area. I have a netting over the tree area and iron fence around it. Of course when caught in the act they were bouncing up and down side to side because they forgot where they got in! It was funny to watch them but I was only able to save a couple of peaches. The tree is to big now for last years cover so had to find something else for this year. Hopefully this will work. We are suppose to simply drape the net over the tree, tighten the drawstring and zip it up. The drawstring ensures the net stays securely in place, even in windy conditions, while the easy-to-open zipper allows for quick inspections of the fruits without removing the entire cover. So its next weekends project wanted to wait until I see little peaches on the tree not just flowers. The mesh is fine enough to not let even the small bugs in!

We're trying to start an orchard and the deer keep thwarting our attempts by eating the tender tips of the branches from the fruit trees. Fencing will work to an extent, if it's tall enough and sturdy enough. I decided to try this netting bag as additional protection and I'm happy with the results. First of all, the bag is easy to use. Unzip it then put it over and around the tree. Similar to putting a coat on. Zip it closed and snug the drawstring at the bottom. We have strong winds here and I discovered it is necessary to wrap any extra length of the drawstring around the tree trunk. So far this bag is keeping the deer from damaging the young peach tree it's on. I have only praise for the quality of the product, and I expect it to last several years. Once the trees are taller, I won't need this type of protection but for now, I'm very pleased with its durability and performance.

The zipper will come right up and the string on the bottom is a ribbon! It kept flying off even after tying it down I would not recommend this product

I decided to try placing this over my fully-grown apple tree to protect my apples from birds. Even with a zippered opening, it requires a minimum of two people to cover the tree. Regrettably, the stitching on the zipper is already coming undone. Looks like the birds will be enjoying my apples once more.

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I have a medium size fig tree in a large pot, and year after year, rats and mice get to the fruit before I do. I've tried other solid sheet mesh covers, but it's difficult to seal their entire plant and extremely difficult to access the plant once installed. This product solves everything. A simple zipper to access the plant and a drawstring at the base, to keep the critters out! The netting is very lightweight and should not damage or crush leaves like heavier products. Air and moisture can easily get through.
