Bough this because I was sick of hauling my eazy-up to sport events for my kids. This one I can easily Carry in my hand without pulling a wagon and set it up quick and fast all by myself. The only down side is that set up on cement on a windy day, it couple fly away if you don’t have 4 heavy items (ice chest,backpacks,ect) at each corner to hold it down….but it’s doable if you do. ... show more

As a single parent, I was looking for something that is easy to set up alone and this was perfect. It was super easy. The only drawbacks to this is that the straps are a pain and get all tangled up. I also really needed something for the beach but after using this at the river a couple of times I realized it would not withstand the windiness of the beach. Just the tiniest bit of a breeze kept blowing it over, so I would say that using the stakes is a must but at the beach you would need some kind of sandbags to hold it down. Also, those ground straps really have no use other than to cause people to trip and get tangled up, so I'm not sure why they are on there. I use this on my deck to partially shade my plants. It was hard to set up the first time by myself but after that it was easy. I suggest getting help the first time. Since it’s on a deck I used some anchors (that do not come with it).

One of the leg attachments was broken at first use. Had to pay $28 to ship it back and get a replacement. Buyer beware. It's easy to put up, but the covered area is pretty small - two people sitting close to each other (yes we saw the dimensions before we bought - I am making this point in case you plan to use this for more than 2 people -I wouldn't recommend). I used as a sun shade at a camp site with no shade. Was a little difficult to set up the first time and the ground was hard to get the plastic stakes in but worked amazing even stood up to so wind. Well worth the purchase.
