Works great. Needed a 2nd safe and this fit the space perfectly. It comes disassembled, so be prepared to assemble it. I did it solo. You may need assistance. I was confused when I saw the box because I was like there's no way this is 15x17.75. Overall very happy with it. Felt like a good value. The handgun holsters are a pretty good upgrade and work for me. The shelf on the door is clever and useful as well. Very smart design. Obviously, this isn't going to help in a fire and will only slow a theft- but it will keep my kid out of the guns which is the sole goal here. That and cleaning up the storage area. The lock programming was fairly straightforward. The only thing I would say is the assembly instructions are lacking. They aren't quite as detailed as they could be, but if you are good at problem solving, you'll figure it out. One thing I ordered after this was a damp-rid type thing to keep moisture from the firearms. Overall the value is absolutely there. Good buy. Highly recommend and was pleasantly surprised for the price point especially after shopping in other stores and comparing values.

I’m extremely impressed with this gun safe overall. The build quality feels solid and secure, and the three locking pins give me real peace of mind when it comes to safety. What really sets this safe apart, though, is the locking system—both the fingerprint scanner and the PIN pad work flawlessly. The fingerprint reader is fast and accurate every time, and the keypad responds perfectly with no lag or missed inputs, which is exactly what you want in a safe you may need to access quickly. That said, it’s not perfect. The handgun pockets on the door are a bit of a letdown. They don’t fit pistols very well, especially larger handguns, and the layout doesn’t accommodate multiple pistols comfortably. It feels like an afterthought compared to the rest of the safe’s excellent design. Despite that minor flaw, this is still a high-quality, reliable safe with outstanding security features. If secure access and dependable locking mechanisms are your priorities, this safe absolutely delivers.

Fit and finish can be hit‑or‑miss, and some users find the biometric reader inconsistent in tough conditions. It’s fine for basic secure storage, but don’t rely on it as your only line of defense for high‑value firearms or long‑term protection. It's a sturdy safe, but I highly recommend securing it to the wall for added safety.

The media could not be loaded. Update: the company more than made good on this. Excellent customer service! I think I just got a lemon. I bought this specifically for the fingerprint option. Set up doesn’t work. I tried it well over 20 times, taking out the batteries to reset and everything. The instructions say to press the re-set button and touch it 5 times then it will beep “okay” and flash green and the finger print is set. The alarm goes off instead! I emailed and was told no, do it three times not five like the instructions say. After three, nothing happens. Then I was sent a YouTube video with the instructions (showing to do it 5 times) and yes, that is the instructions I followed. As you can see in the video, the alarm just goes off. Password sets up fine and resets fine though. It also has an external key and an external battery box. Please note - it only has felt on one shelf and the door in there. I put that extra felt in myself with a kit of felt and spray glue I found on Amazon by typing gun felt in the search bar. Well worth the price regardless.
