I bought this when it was on sale for $130. A real bargain. It was hot outside and 15-20 degrees hotter inside my apartment as there is only one window and it only opens a few inches at the bottom. Then I got this. Suddenly ice cold air. It has a dehumidifier and a timer. It even has the front vent slats "swing" which means the vertical slats move so the effect is much like an oscillating fan. It comes with a remote and everything just works. I dont see it on sale right now but it is still a nice little unit. And there is no way one could mount an A/C unit i in the window except a like portable one like this anyway. I may buy a longer vent hose for $20. Otherwise I think I got a great bargain and have zero regrets buying this unit.

I was pretty nervous that the AC wouldn't work as planned. The price was very appealing but after some research I was convinced it wouldn't be enough. I was wrong. Although it may not be as fast at cooling my bedroom down as a standard window ac I was very impressed with how well it maintained cool temperature. I also have not had issues having to drain the ac. Instructions could be a bit more specific but it doesn't take a genius to put together either so you get what you pay for. Great purchase may buy a bigger version for the living room. If you're on the fence just go for it. Well worth the money.

Works great. We have a 399 sq ft tiny home and it made a huge difference inside. The dehumidifier and AC both are very powerful. It might be a little noisy for some, but personally I like the sound. I do wish the window kit had an option for smaller windows, but I guess I could cut it to fit. Great value for the money, would definitely recommend.

2 days use updates: The drain is designed at the bottom, so to drain water, I have to put it on a table, and then the noise is even louder. I notice the drain problem is at the beginning. I didn't use the outlet drain pipe. I believe when it's full, it will remind me to empty it. But the water tank is pretty small, even after 2 days of usage, the water is full. And there is a big water leak. After I put it on my table, then connected the drain with a bottle, and it worked well again. Just the noise is louder. I will keep updating my usage experience. But I have to downgrade it to 3 stars due to the water drainage issue and the big noise. Old post: It works for my 200 sqft room, not difficult to install, and the noise level is lower than I thought. The noise is like you are running a fan with high speed mode, plus you have a refrigerator that is working. The sleep mode doesn't lower the noise, so it's not suitable for people who sleep lightly. But I think no portable AC is good for people who sleep lightly. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. When I test it, the outside temp is 87F, and my room temp is 78F. It takes 15 minutes to reduce the temp to 77f, just letting you know.
