Absolutely love everything about the 7am cocoon. I simply put my baby in the car seat with just her clothing and a warm blanket and she stays warm. But there's nothing in back of her, so she also doesn't get overly sweaty (like in other car seat covers). It's so easy to go out. I don't have to think twice because I don't have to deal with the "bundling up baby" hassle. The only thing I don't like is that I had to take the canopy off my Doona, but I'm still not taking off a star because A) I don't really need a canopy when I have this, baby is covered. B) 7am has other options where the canopy can stay on (the wrap, the Igloo, etc). Bonus: I absolutely LOVE the white with fur. I get so many comments on how nice it looks. Plus it stays clean! Seems the fabric is dirt resistant because I haven't washed it yet and it's still perfectly white (baby is 2.5 months).

This cocoon is amazing. Worth every penny. Fits my Uppababy Mesa car seat perfectly. Keeps baby so nice and warm even on super cold days. Very, very warm and cozy for the baby. Great quality and cute design. I even get a bunch of compliments on it. This is one baby product I’d definitely recommend.

Fits Nuna Pipa Lite RX without being too tight around the elastic edge. Still have room to spare! And because the horizontal zippers unzip all the way to the left and right, you are able to still squeeze the car seat canopy through to shield from sun while still keeping their feet warm! Also works perfectly to zip up all the way with the canopy pushed back underneath.

this functions exactly as designed, easy to use, soft enough for a newborn, appears to be well made, it is a must have for anyone with a newborn to infant in a baby carrier, fits most, this brand also makes hand mittens and a similar item for covering a stroller.

Loved the look and feel of the product out of the packaging - which I felt to be quite attractive in itself. The Heather Gray color was such a great match to the black zippers and velcro. I’m using this on a 2019 Uppababy Mesa, which because of the placement of the handles relevant to the actual seat (where the two are attached) there is a small gap on both sides that can allow air in. I knew this walking into the purchase because of another reviewer making mention of it, but continued on with the purchase because this problem would exist with any similar product, as it’s now a flaw of the product, but rather the reality of trying to marry this type of product with the Mesa car seat. I liked the “Y” zipper design which allows the top part to open up and flay our with the bottom remaining on like a blanket on the baby’s lap.

I bought this for my baby who was born in September for the winter. So far it’s been great, but as others commented it may overheat. My baby has had a temperature of around 98.1 for all appointments and when we went to the two month appointment he was at 99.1 - that was a two minute walk to car with this on the seat, unzipped but still on seat for an 8 minute car ride, then one minute zipped into pediatrician. He was removed within a few minutes and was undressed for a few minutes before taking temp. I definitely recommend unzipping once in the car for short trips (taking off seat for longer trips once car heats up) and taking off once inside. It’s very easy to stretch on and off seat. The product itself works great- it is super helpful because you can’t buckle in with a jacket so I know he’s toasty in there even with cold winds and temps (located in New Jersey so it does get cold). If you watch your baby and only use when actually in the cold you should be ok!
