The assembly was about as expected with the exception being the broken "F" piece. That caused a 4 hour delay to reassemble and wait for the glue to dry. As only about 4 inches of the damage is visible (if you hold your head over there and look thataway you see the damage, so I don't. Lol) otherwise, being patient and organized made it fairly easy if slow. Once done it is worth each and every min of time putting it together. It is gorgeous. The flames dance just as real ones do, just more colorful. The cabinets look awesome with the spot lights going. We looked for most of a year and found -almost- what we wanted until this one...exactly what I was looking for and in a very good price too. The one lost star is due to broken parts in shipment. The item shipped quickly for the price point, it’s honestly a steal. The heat output is very strong and nice. The quality is amazing. My only feedback would be that the item was marked as delivered although there was a second package that had not yet arrived. I had to contact the seller to get the second package tracking info. Additionally, the doors have pretty large gaps at the top and side which looks a little funky if you know it’s there. Could be user error, but is unlikely as I followed the instructions thoroughly and the gaps sizes are identical for both doors. I also used the pre made holes and markings. The media could not be loaded. I love it!!! Comes in 2 box’s, one is SUPERRRRRR HEAVY!! It’s so cool though. Changes colors in every way, from the door sides, the flames, to even the “burning wood”.
