Just received this and worked all day just to find out that 1 of the step down chips/processors are blown. Should get nothing higher than 5v and im getting like 8.83v and 6.2v..... kinda pissed.

This controller has a ton of tuning capability for higher power electric bike or motorcycle projects. Build quality looks excellent and the wiring/connectors feel durable. Programming takes some learning, but once configured properly the throttle response is smooth and powerful. Definitely better suited for experienced builders who want customization and performance rather than plug-and-play simplicity.

I am building a custom electric motorcycle in my garage and needed a controller that could actually handle a high voltage system without melting down under load. I selected this high power controller to push my hub motor to its limits. The unit itself is huge and has thick metal cooling fins all over it to dissipate the heat. Getting it wired up takes a bit of study if you are not used to programmable controllers, but the harness connections are solid. Once I got the software running on my laptop, tuning the throttle response and phase current was actually pretty straightforward. It pushes an incredible amount of power directly to the wheel. The acceleration is completely night and day compared to my old generic controller. It is an amazing value for the sheer amount of amps it can push reliably. I would absolutely order this again for my next electric project.
