I used this closet to store my incoming baby’s items because I wanted to separate them from my closet. This closet has a sliding door which I love because it provides smooth operation. It has lots of storage space and it’s very sturdy. It fits perfectly in my space and looks gorgeous. It’s easy to put together, it only took my son about two hours. I really recommend it, it’s worth the money!

Even though the pictures always showed a door open, I just assumed the second door was behind the first when opened. Why would there only be one sliding door covering only half of the shelving and contents? That means 1/2 of the cabinet contents are always exposed for everyone to see - which 1/2 showing is depending on which way the single door was slid. So the right side contents or left side contents would be exposed. That just doesn’t make sense. We have purchased other cabinets similar to this with sliding doors (a curio cabinet as well as 2 DVD cabinets) and therer was always 2 doors, with one sliding over the other. I reread the ad for this cabinet and in many spots it says “sliding doors” as in plural. We live on a farm and wanted to keep all the animal medications and first aid items in the cabinet, so it will look horrible to always have the contents open to viewing. I can’t imagine anyone storing anything where they wouldn’t want contents in both sides covered. We are not happy! On a smaller note, sadly the handle on the existing door won’t even stay on because the screws aren’t long enough to tighten up.

I bought this for my kid to hold his personal collections of games, books and so on. I like the idea of half sliding door. My kid loves it as well. The cabinet comes in all wrapped and easy to install. A bit heavy due to nice quality material. Great size for holding a bunch of stuff. Very stable on the carpet setting. I love the color, very soothing and goes well with white walls. Takes us about 1.5 hours to assemble.
