When the battery runs low, speed seems to drop for a bit. This scooter doesn't do well on the steep slope but that is usual I think. I was on about 30 degree slope, the speed dropped to 6-9 mph. I was hesitant about this scooter but now that I've bought it, it's worth every penny and more, I am very happy with this electric scooter. I work far so it comes very useful for me. I love it and it runs pretty fast. Definitely recommend it. It is easy to use and goes a good range the battery life has been good,I charge the battery before getting out of work and before work,it brings me all the way home is about a good 20 minutes.
