Great little unit. The centrifugal blower fan design is similar to large commercial dehumidifiers which was unexpected but a nice touch. Extremely energy efficient (draws approx 280w), relatively quiet, LCD screen makes it feel like a higher end unit. Humidistat is relatively accurate within 1-2%. I like that the LCD also displays the room temp. Slick design, light and portable. Long power cord which is always nice. Can’t beat the price. I’d buy this again.

This has been a great dehumidifier. Pro's: Fairly quiet. Easy to manage Time controls, auto off, easy to set Cons: None Final review: I have seen some bad reviews that say power consumption is up to 500 Watts. I really do not think that this device pulls that much. It may be the case, but there is no substantial evidence that it does consume this amount of energy. I have seen other reviews that say the control panel is hard to manage, but in my case, it was rather easy. Also, someone said something about humidity level and that it is off, but in my case it seems correct and stays solid once the humidity level is reached. I do know that it brings the humidity level to the set level you set, then it will stay on until it reaches 3 degrees below, then finally turn off. Tips and Tricks: Plug in the long tube and place that either in bucket, sink or tub. You can hold the power for 3-4 seconds until you hear a slight beep to initiate the pump and the water will be expelled from the unit manually. You can also do this with the power off, it will start the pump and expel water that way as well. Other information: I used this for water damage in one room. Everything was bone dry in two days after running this device. Remember this device is estimated for up to 1000 square feet. I almost guarantee an attic/basement/crawl space may require a larger unit! Some complain that it is not working for the crawl space! I beg to differ based on the crawl space size that these people may be reporting! Some people reporting this device does NOT come with the long liquid expelling tube. It DOES come with this tube. I would only assume, the device they received was returned without it and then re-sold by a vendor that did not include it. In the end, this device is very solid! Excellent product. The unit is industrial strength and it feels and performs that way. Very compact which is great for small spaces. And it does a fantastic job drying out my basement in the moist summer months. The customer support was also top notch— I purchased a first unit, which arrived at my house with a defect from a crack during shipping. After I contacted the company about the issue, they sent a brand new unit.
