This wiring harness is of excellent quality, has very fine connectors and moulding. You have to be really careful of the color convention as far as what color wire goes to which function, but that is largely because when you are retrofitting an old trailer, the wire colors already in the junction box may not correspond to the right colors on this cable. I use a trailer test box to ensure that the correct lights come on when I'm wiring into the junction box. I wired up my neighbor's contractor trailer with this and he is really happy with the results.

Updated review. Went to an RV store and eleas ready to buy one locally (for more than double the price of this one) and the service guys asked about a fuse on my vehicle. Sure enough,it was blown so I replaced it with a $1 fuse and now everything works just fine. I would give 5 stars but the plug is a little small compared to my previous plug so it's a little jiggly.

This thing was a cheap chinese piece of garbage. 3 of the wire circuits were bad inside the cord. I would have returned it but decided to just pitch it in the garbage , which is where it belonged.
