I've purchased *many head units in my day & I can say with ease that this, by far, is 1 of the greatest values I've come across... High quality, feature rich, responsive touch screen, clear image, no physical buttons/knobs to break, tons of extras. The only downsides I could muster was that the included mounting brackets didn't fit my vehicle, but usually install kits come with their own anyways & are vehicle-specific, & the built-in equalizer made my factory Bose sound system sound worse (but you can just turn off the equalizer & all is well). I like that the unit is 'mechless' making it very slim & lightweight, it comes with a plethora of adapter methods, 2x USBs (4 & 6 pin), AV connections, back up cam, & a GPS antenna module for its standalone Google Maps connectivity. Touchscreen is very responsive, while the overall quality of the unit is up there with the name brand Pioneers/Kenwoods/JVCs/Alpines/etc. Mine came loaded with Android 13 & didn't need an update after connecting it to WiFi. Plenty of customizations (perhaps too many), but after some tinkering, you figure it all out pretty quick. Android Auto was glitchy for me at 1st but after turning off batt. optimization for the app from my phone (Pixel 7 Pro), that's all fixed. Quick boot times after initial setup, & connects right away on vehicle startup. Clear screen, hi-res, with options of watching video while driving (which usually requires separate hardware).

I've always stuck with big brand stereos like Kenwood and Pioneer and competing in competitions. I recently inherited my Mom's Mazda Tribute after her passing. Didn't want to spend an outrageous amount just wanted something that was a double din with touchscreen and could play Bluetooth. Found this and can honestly say for the price was best money spent. This thing is amazing the sound is great, the GPS spot on, automatically logs onto my phone as soon as I start it up and pic on videos is amazing. Also text messaging will play you tge text then ask if you want to respond you say yes it records your message then sends a text back same with calling someone tell it who to call and it calls them.

Waste of money, whines real bad through speakers while motor is running, so unit has scrappy cheap grounds or scrappy filters internally. And the backup camera has a legit 1 second lag between whats behind you and what youre seeing, it will make you back into something eventually. buy something else

The wiring for the backup camera is confusing, but I figured it out with some trial and error! The reverse camera broke right away when I leaned on it, ripping out the wires from the camera, my fault, but I wish it was more durable... The head unit fits snugly in my 2005 ford escape without having to cut anything! There are gaps around the outsides but it's fine I can custom 3d print some fillers. For this price I cannot complain! I wish the usb ports could output more power. They are 5v500ma which is not enough for my phone to charge from. The builtin mic is atrocious, but I have an external mic hooked up! For those trying to switch kph to mph, go to settings>car settings> factory> the passcode is 000000 I wish I had all the different codes! This is my headunit, and I should be allowed to use it! I am missing the codes for pwm settings and developer options. I will raise my rating to 5 stars if you make these codes public! I really want to get into developer options so I can sideload apps wirelessly and reduce the animation times to 0.5x. There is a little bit of screen lag that those settings would immediately resolve. Btw thanks guys for actually supporting your headunit and pushing updates to the configs every month! I hope you can add a generic car type so that I can plug this radio into my 2005 ford escape's obd2 port and get all the info there without needing an external scantool!

This is an intial review. 2008-2012 us spec Honda accord. Bought metra kit for this car but it has to be modified slightly as this radio does not completely follow 7in x 4in double din specification. Paq Kit is not even worth the trouble. After modification and lot of glue gun and plastic glue, unit was finally in the kit housing. Compared to other cheap units eg: mp5 player, the display gui is lightweight. System is pretty open for other android functions. Like pairing with hotspot and you can browse in chrome browser and watch youtube without bothering with android auto. Only tried android auto function and it seemed to work well. Seems to work well for now. Do not have any long term expecations for the price. Had to write the review as was genuinely impressed with features for this price tag. I wish someone would guide me how to wire the steering wheel controls on this car without buying and expensive can bus adapter interface which is more expensive than this unit. I did not install the backup camera, gps sensor, all part of the kit. Android auto pretty much does it all for me. Back part does feel getting bit warmer during use.

It was very easy to install, sounds great and it actually has AM. It would be nice if it was louder but I can fix that easily buy biulding a poweramplier. It looks factory installed in my 1998 toyota camry. Fits perfectly. I cant give it 6 stars, they only have 5. Best car stereo I ever had.

A great buy on a short dime, this head unit has worked perfectly for the last weeks with no issues I wish I could figure out how to change the speed from kph to mph on the home screen but other then that android auto works perfectly pairs up quickly and does everything just fine altho with a little slow to react at time otherwise perfect for the budget
