This bed base has truly made all the difference in our comfort. Before receiving this queen mattress foundation, I had my mattress sitting on a split wooden box spring. After my son was born—and since he occasionally ends up in my bed—I decided to take it completely off the frame for safety. Having the mattress closer to the floor gave me peace of mind for him, but it definitely wasn’t ideal for me. As an almost 40-year-old mom to a busy 2-year-old, crawling into a bed on the floor and especially getting out of it was brutal on my knees. This 9-inch base has made those movements so much easier and more comfortable. It lifts the bed just enough to save my joints while still keeping it low enough that I feel safe with my son sleeping in it. I had also previously damaged one of the wooden slats on my old box spring after accidentally putting too much weight in one spot. It became incredibly noisy and would often wake my toddler. This metal foundation completely solved that problem. It’s whisper quiet—no squeaks or creaks at all. Assembly was surprisingly easy, with several pieces already pre-assembled. The frame feels incredibly solid and sturdy. I have zero concerns about durability with this one. It’s the perfect balance of safety for my little one and comfort for me—and that’s exactly what we needed in this season of life.

I'm pleased with this order. The 9 inch queen size box spring is made of heavy duty steel inside. Since there's no springs it does not squeak and is quiet when we get in and out of bed. This is great since my husband wakes up a lot it won't disturb me. The slip resistant fabric helps to keep the mattress in place on it. The 9 inch box spring can sit fine on the floor with a tall mattress or you can get a shorter one and put it on a bedframe. For $84 this was a good value for the price and will last a long time with its 3000 lb weight limit.

This 7" queen steel box spring was easy to assemble and feels very sturdy once put together. The steel construction provides strong, consistent support and noticeably reduced the creaking we were getting from our existing wooden bed frame. It can be used with a traditional bed frame or placed directly on the floor, which makes it versatile depending on your setup. The 7" height does add a noticeable lift, which made my daughter’s bed a bit higher than intended since her frame was originally designed to be used without a box spring.
