I was looking for utensils to fit in a small carry pouch. I think I found them. These separate into two pieces: a fork, and a knife and spoon. Easy to pull apart, easy to re-assemble. The fork doesn't lock, so it's a bit delicate. Any heavy force causes it to flex a bit, or close up. Treat it normally and you'll be ok. The knife does lock, and is quite sharp. Easy to cut steaks with. The spoon doesn't lock, but realistically, doesn't need to. Also on the knife/spoon piece are a can opener and cork screw. Not heavy duty, but good enough. Easy to clean with a scrub brush and soapy water. Stainless steel so it doesn't rust. Probably wouldn't hold up for daily use, but great if you find yourself with a meal and no utensils.

Just got this set, first impression is that it is well made, well thought out design. That said, allow me to go through it. The way the 2 piece snap together is at this point a bit stiff. To get them apart, you very simple apply a downward sliding motion on the curved part of the fork and the clip releases and the parts come apart easily. Putting them back together is a bit harder. It takes some practice. Lining up the slots on the posts and giving it a bit of an upward push will get them to snap back. The fork is kind small, slightly bigger than a cocktail fork, but don’t misunderstand it will get the job done. The spoon is a good size, but not super wide, and a bit shallow. So you’ll be taking small bites. I don’t mean to make it sound worse than it is. Just being real. And the knife is impressive. Very shape and the serrated edge will cut a steak with very little effort. I can also attest to the wine opener. It does very well at popping the cork on a bottle of Pinot Noir. Personally I have many different methods of opening a can then using the one provided. Although I’m positive it too will work as designed and open a can in a pinch. Overall it’s a good set to have, you won’t go hungry with this tool around, and you may feel my criticism is maybe a bit over the top for such a useful tool. And it is useful, I’d say it’s the best camping set I gotten so far.

Item description: 4 in 1 Folding Camping Utensils Brand: UMEINAC Item: B0BPY29RN6 Date received: 2023-02-14 Headline - Ingenious separating and folding utensils, but not backpack weight friendly. Product Claims 1 folding camping utensil set I received the item as described. The item came bagged within a small pasteboard box. The product is a nice design for what it is, with 3 blades that fold-out of a housing like a pocket knife. One is a full, wide spoon, one is a 4-tined fork, and one is a curved blade knife that has a bottle opener on it's back edge. The housing has a spring ring on one end to allow it to be attached or hung. The primary material is said to be stainless steel in the product description (but by its appearance and magnetic response it could be chrome-plated carbon steel). The particularly interesting feature is that the housing splits into two pieces based on the opening of the fork. When the fork is closed, the two halves of the housing are locked. When the fork is opened the two halves can be separated into a fork half and a knife/spoon half, so that you can cut with the knife while holding it with fork. To put them back together, line up the studs on the interior surface of the fork half with the slotted openings on matching surface of the spoon/knife half, slide them together, and the close the fork to lock them back together. In backpacking, every gram counts and unfortunately, backbackers, this is not weight friendly, as it comes in at a hefty 116.4 grams. By comparison, a small fork and spoon, and regular table knife (not even a small one), from one of our regular dining cutlery sets collectively weighs only 110 grams, so this item only has its more compact size as it's primary advantage versus my home kitchenware. Yes, it has a bottle opener. Yes, the four functions lock into one unit. Yes, it has an attachment ring. But... 116.4 grams. Yikes! So appropriately armed with all this information, you can make your own decision on what you might use it for.

7 in 1 Camping Utensils Set The seller's "How to Use" instructions should be included with the product. Initially upon receiving this utensil multi-tool I could find no way to access the knife blade. I asked 3 others for help. The third was able to get the blade out, but only, as I had foreseen, with the aid of another tool. Once out and open the blade locks into place, ...without any visible means to easily unlock it. In order to unlock & fold the knife a way it appeared an outside tool was required to manually push the lock aside so the blade can be folded back into the knife. This seemed too obvious a flaw. I knew I must be missing something, so I went back to the seller's page on Amazon and noticed the seller's “How to Use” instructions. ( Which I have included in this review for an additional reference point). All fell into place & became intuitively obvious once the fork has been separated from the main body. The build quality seems better than most I have experienced in the past. This could be handy tool to keep in the glove box etc. It is small & compact with a decent selection of tools which could prove nice to have on hand in case it's needed. I would rate it at 4 stars! Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible
