These hinges are rock solid. I hung a 53" wide wooden 'shadowbox' gate on them and they didn't even blink. I hope they last. I did have to buy a $15 grease gun from Harbor F to charge them. They come ungreased FYI.

You get what you pay for with these hinges. Very stout and with a nice, thick & beautiful powder coat. The weight ratings on these are quite conservative. I appreciate the inclusion of grease zerks and the build quality of these. Five stars without a doubt!

They have internal bearings where the bolt goes through. They feel very heavy-duty and should work great for any driveway gate . They have bolt holes but I planned to weld them to a metal gate. This set of hinges will undoubtedly last many years and has grease points that are accessible . I will update with some pictures once finished. ... show more
