It’s a little wobbly because of the adjustable height feature. To be expected. Mounted easily and worked with the lamp, but now it leans a little bit because of the wobble. Not a perfect design, but the lamp is in a corner so we leave it be. Not a fan of the random assorted adapter pieces. Just sell them as individual options. I just ended up throwing two of them away. Bought this after my purchase at a big box DIY store yielded just one size of lamp converter and didn’t fit. Amazon to the rescue! I was able to create a harp to fit a vintage lampshade to a new lamp easily and cheaply.

On the one I received, the metal slider things that are supposed to come down and secure what I'm calling the "legs" of the harp to the saddle are too small so they do not fit thus making it useless for me, I'm afraid that if I try to force it, these little thin pieces of metal will break so I will either return it or take the loss. ... show more

Works good once you get it adjusted and snugged up on the lamp. Pretty wobbly and cheap metal. Typical, mediocre quality item from China, but it's sob what we need it to do. Not sure how suitable it's going to be. Time will tell.

Ordered 2 other kits from another company, neither fit. The hole was too small. There should be a universal size for lamps. But this one finally fit and I was so happy it did.
