Originally, I wasn't really sure about this rug, but because it was a very good price, I decided to go for it, and I'm glad that I did. It looks much better than I expected. I also love the way it feels on bare feet, its very soft, yet durable. Because the rug was black, I was a bit hesitant on how it would look, but I believe that it looks quite nice. I did put some padding under the, but to be honest, it wasn't really necessary. The rug isn't slippery on my wood floor without the padding. I think some.of tbe reviews said it was too flat, I totally disagree. I had already had the padding from the rug this one replaced, but again, I personally don't feel any padding was needed.

Great for the price. Rug is super soft. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is hard to keep clean without pulling the fibers out. You gotta take it outside and shake it. The vacuum is tough rough for it, even on the high setting. It is like the hair of a rabbit but longer.

So you get what you pay for. If you buy this expecting to get about 6 months of use you will not be disappointed. I needed something in a pinch .for temporary use and so I got this. I had one before so I had no high expectations however this one is not as good as the first one. 1. It comes folded, shrink wrapped and wrapped in plastic. It can be difficult to open because you have to be careful to not cut the rug when trying to open it. 2. It has a lot of creases in it feom being folded and then shrink wrapped. 3. You can not vacuum it, it is so light your vacuum cleaner will suck up the rug. If you use an attachment it pulls the rug material from the mat. 4. It is soft, but after walking on it a few days you will notice it starts to become worn or matted. If it is in a low to no traffic area it will last longer and look fine. 5. Just need a place for the baby to crawl or play this could work. Why 3 stars, because it does what you should expect from a large $14 rug. Its not a great quality, and I advise against getting it wet.

I recently purchased this rug and I love it! It came all sealed up and flattened out pretty quickly for me. I bought for my office floor to keep it a little warmer for me since I have wood floors. It is also very very soft. The thickness is perfect. Quality seems to be very good. I also like that it has a little bit of a rubber bottom to help from sliding all over the place. It looks great to me and I would definitely purchase in another color.
