Super soft! Thin, but doesn’t look cheap. Pet proof also! My dog had an accident on it and it didn’t soak through. We also were able to throw it in the washing machine when it got a little dirty (from the dog). The rubber on the bottom holds it in place too. The rug looks like the picture in the listing. The "Faded Purple" is VERY fade and that may take some getting used to. I question how soiled it might get if were placed near my front door. It is very well made-not flimsy, and the rubber backing is much more substantial than I've seen on other rugs. It may take me a while to determine the ideal place for this rug, but I like it nonetheless. It is in a higher class than other rugs of its type.

This has a pleasant, worn appearance. It's very soft to the touch, much more so than a similar rug that I have. It does tend to slide around a bit, despite the underside seeming to have some grippy material on it (I do have it on top of wall-to-wall). It feels good to walk on, and is nice to have in the room.

The 5'x7' area rug is the perfect fit for a medium sized room with furniture. It has a smooth, soft feel to it with short, loose pile. Since the rug is thin and not very dense, I don't have it in a high traffic area and use it in a sitting area. The neutral colors fit well with our decor, and the pattern is pleasing to the eye. The edges are sewn well and the anti-slip backing keeps it in place when walking over it. The rug is easy to vacuum and the brush roller has no problem with the short pile. It is a decent rug if you are looking for something not too expensive, with a classical pattern to it.

So the color is "faded purple" which is... well, it looks like the picture exactly so at least it wasn't a surprise. It's like a faded light pink on cream. The rug is machine washable, which I love, and very soft. It keeps my toes warm.

I live in an apartment with carpeting and wanted to but down an entry carpet to help with the dirt and preserve the carpet. I have a dog, so there are wet paws. This is perfect on top of my carpet. It is not thick (which is what I wanted). I love the colors and pattern. It is modern in a classical kind of way and it looks like an expensive carpet (without the expense). It is finished off along the edges really nicely and has a bit of rubber on the back (but not too much). The carpet its self is very soft and nice in bare feet. It is easy to vacuum and seems to resist dirt. I love it! Perfect for what I needed!!!
