Great value for these lights. The light is very bright, and has several settings, so you can change the brightness. I replaced all of the 'boob' lights in my house and these are an easy upgrade to lighting. They come in black or white rim, I chose the white. Flush mount to the ceiling. I recently bought a real fixer-upper of a house. I guess it to be the style of the day (built 1965), but this house did not have ANY overhead lights! Every room (3 bedrooms and living room) had an outlet controled by the switch at the doorway, for a lamp. I HATE this! I wanted to add overhead lights to the room, temporarily while doing other renovating, then end up with ceiling fan/light combo at the end. I found these for ~$18 each. I bought 1 to start with.
